We stayed at the Avalon guest house for 4 nights and my wife and I absolutely loved it! We initially had the queen bed size room, but they upgraded us to the king size bedroom at no charge so that was really nice! The breakfast and snack provided with our room was also great! The whole staff are incredible people and incredible at their job. The food itself is also great, just what you need to start your day and the snack is also really great, use that perk if you have it because it’s good and a great holdover until you get your dinner! Multiple pools to lay at and catch some sun, all have a different vibe too which is great for whatever mood you’re in! My wife and I are already planning our trip back next summer with family because it was just great for us in all aspects!

Room was very clean and comfy. Nice hotel. Great location. Breakfast was delicious and free, it was located at the Dewey House across the street. We would stay here again.

We had an amazing vacation staying at Duval Gardens. I would stay here again and again and recommend this place to anyone! The staff was so friendly and helpful. The breakfasts were hot and delicious, and we sat out on the large front porch every morning and every evening. It is a busy street so it's not exactly quiet but once in our room we could barely hear a thing and slept like babies! It was also great to be close to everything and in walking distance to so many activities. Our room was just as expected, small but so comfortable. The A/C was cold and refreshing, the bathroom was spacious and clean, and the bed was VERY comfortable. We also had the benefit of being poolside - which was lovely. The other guests were friendly and kind. I can't say enough good things. I saw so many good reviews on this place I just had to book and I don't regret it for a moment.

Stayed here with a group of friends. Great location at south end of Duval. Close to the action but a bit more relaxed area. Our room was great. Small which is common in B&Bs. Room was perfect. Beautiful condition with great beds and linens. Giant TV. Large bathrooms with new walk in shower. The Service was excellent. Kimberly went out of her way to make sure our group had everything the needed. The self serve breakfast buffet is great and served on the large front porch. Lots of choices. Fresh fruit, yogurts, bagels, Danish, bacon, eggs and more. Will come back and recommend to others

Very nice and cozy. Simple but still comfortable, people managing are great and very friendly. The pool is beautiful. The breakfast area very nice and the variety too despite being small. It has a parking area. Rooms are comfortable too. You might hear people if they are having a wild night. And if you are in the rooms on ground floor you might hear steps.

This was such a cute little place! It was located right in the middle of everything and the staff was so friendly and helpful. The breakfast was wonderful outside on the porch. The room was also very nice and it wasn’t the same cookie cutter hotel. Very quaint! We would go back.

Comfortable, close to the butterfly conservatory, and all main attractions. Beautiful quaint rooms, clean, and with refrigerator to keep your wine cool. Nice breakfast with variety of cereals, fruit, and breads to choose from. Nice terrace to seat and relax with a small pool to cool off during very hot days. We really enjoyed our stay!

Location was perfect! Centrally located on Duvall but noise was never an issue. Rooms are clean, updated and comfortable. Bathroom was larger than most in the area. Bed was very comfortable. Nice little pool to cool off. Staff was so friendly and helpful! Better breakfast setup than most in the area. Great big porch area over looking Duvall with plenty of seating. I will definitely stay here again! Well worth the price we paid.
