The Grotto West Coast Grill - American restaurant in Springfield - 301 E Battlefield Rd, USA

Everything I’ve tried is always delicious. I try something different every time. They have a variety of choices from hamburgers to pasta to salads and more. If you have a group of people everyone can find something they like on their menu.

A good place to eat lunch when everyone wants something a little different. The offer salads, pizza, Mac and cheese bowls, hand-helds and more. Counter service vibe with varied seating areas and a patio. Looks like a lunch stop for a lot of local businesses. Wanted a little more personality from this place, but it was clean and service was efficient. FYI no beer or wine served.

Eating out can be so heavy and simply leave us feeling like we should have spent our money on a piece of gym equipment rather than processed deep fried “sleeping pills”. Thennnnnn, we came to The Big G! Ginger and I love the Grotto. Our fav is the avocado chicken sammich with sweet potato fries. We are never so satisfied as when our tastebuds and appetites are satiated by the hot, thin, crispy fries with the flavor of heaven throughout, to the juiciest and most delectable chicken with smashed avocado and that muy caliente chipotle' crema, bacon and swiss. Keep your Mickey D’s #4 sized for a family, and give us the joy of healthy eating, scrumptious shareables, and a happy tummy full of love and acceptance through food fit for a royal family. And oh, did I mention - the ladies who served us were 100% worth tipping with any gold coins or lucky charms you take with you - they are the absolute BEST reason to Go To The Grotto!

I really like the food, the staff are friendly, and clean comfortable atmosphere. It is a wee bit pricey for portions and what you are getting. The chicken pasta was good and a healthy portion for lunch, and I got a side of blue cheese chips (very good!) and it was $24 with a drink. That's my only complaint.

Nice spot for burgers, pizza, American Tacos, and more. It is a counter order setup with table service. They have a dedicated cook surface for vegan options and the staff was well informed. It wasn't expensive for offering specialty vegan food. I had the hippie burger and my husband had the beef burger. We shares pita with hummus. All the food was prepared well. The restaurant was clean. Parking was plentiful. I checked out some food on other tables. The salads looked large. The pizza crust looked dense, but I'll be back to try it for myself.

This is the best place!! I am so impressed with the food!! The pita bread is the best I've ever had. The Baja bowl was delicious and the portions are big enough for take home.

The Grotto is a solid 4.5 star rating quick serve restaurant in southern SGF. The Walnut Gorgonzola Salad with Salmon added is a great entree! However, adding the Salmon is nearly the same price as the actual Salmon entree. The Grilled Chicken Pasta was nearing the likes of Fazolli’s unfortunately. The restaurant did have dirty tables and I’m sure staffing is an issue; therefore, a certain amount of that is acceptable in today’s society. Overall, a great stop for middle of the day working lunch!

Amazing food! Southwest salad is my favorite! Good portion size and very delicious!
