The Green Room Hotel - Hotel in Oceanside - 2020 S Coast Hwy, USA

I have stayed at this place two separate times, and both experiences were wonderful. My most recent stay was in the two story room, it was beautiful, comfortable and spacious. The beds are all very comfortable, the kitchen space was great, there was even coffee and filters provided. The staff was extremely helpful and welcoming. The location is great, easy access to food, stores, and a quick drive to the beach. I highly recommend and will be staying there again.

This place is lovely! The room is absolutely beautiful. Simple but fun! We’re in a Rolling Stones themed room (room 11) highlighted by just a subtle nod. The bed is so comfortable. The furniture and rugs are gorgeous. The beams on the ceiling are so cool. There’s even a little private patio adjacent to the room. Everything is immaculate. It’s across the street from a natural foods market, and a short walk to lots of great coffee shops and restaurants. And a block or so away from the sea! The owners communicate quickly. They even brought me a tea kettle I requested, upon arrival. We previously stayed in San Diego, which was great- but we wish we would have stayed here the whole time and driven into San Diego. There is free parking for one car, as well. I would highly recommend staying here.

Stayed in the 2 bedroom suite. Very spacious, had everything we needed. The staff was extremely helpful and accommodating for our needs. Cute nostalgic property. Love that is was pet friendly and they let me bring my great dane with prior approval. So hard to find a place to stay with my giant dog! Plenty of food within walk distance! It was a great stay!

The Green Room Hotel is a hidden gem that we would recommend highly, a beautiful boutique hotel in a great location. The rooms are well equipped (super comfy beds), beautifully clean, quiet and all extremely well maintained. Bikes, beach gear and boards are all available to use. It’s a short easy, ride to Carlsbad, well worth exploring. The outdoor area is perfect spot to relax.|Steve, the owner, was more than helpful with anything we needed and his quick replies and suggestions made our trip great fun.

Great bed. Cool room. Great bathroom which I'm a sucker for. Nice little touches. Hot tub which was much needed after a busy and eventful few weeks. Can't go wrong with The Green Room. It's fantastic.

This place is a not so hidden treasure. It's on the main thoroughfare but once your inside it feels like a little haven on it's own. The owners have done a fantastic job of renovating the place. The vibe is low key bohemian meets Scandinavian. Everything you need is provided for in a simple and elegant way. We stayed in room 10 for the weekend and it was awesome. Very spacious and great natural lighting. The bed was comfortable (huge!) and the shower was spacious. Across the street is an awesome natural foods market. There are diners, coffee houses, a plant store and fine dining within walking distance. Oh, and the beach of course! Bicycles are provided as well as surfboards. We are already planning on coming back because we enjoyed the general vibe everywhere we went. OH! And the owners are dialed in to the meaning of hospitality. They get it and they are good at it. Very responsive and thoughtful. They keep the premises and rooms spotless and go out of their way to make sure your stay is as comfortable as possible.

I stayed in room 11 and it was an adorable bungalow studio apt. Super comfortable, loved the decor and vibe, and it was super spacious with a full kitchen area! I didn’t need to drive anywhere. Me and my pup walked to restaurants, the beach, the neighborhood and the local coffee shops. I’ll definitely be back.
