Dimanche matin - gospel. Nous avons choisi cette église sur conseil de connaissance. Accueil très chaleureux à la porte d’entrée pour l’accueil. On arrive tôt donc on a des places. On nous place en haut. Vue uniquement sur la scène. Juste en dessous de nous il y’a des habitués ou des locaux. Dès le début et pendant 45 min on en prend pleins les yeux. C’est rempli d’émotion ! Les chants sont magnifiques. Et alors que dire du pianiste et du batteur. Ils sont géniaux. Sur scène, il y un podium au centre et les sièges derrières pour les gens qui chantent. Avec un batteur, un guitariste et un pianiste à droite. Alors ok ce n’est pas comme dans le film Sister Act, car ils ne sont pas tous en tenue, mais ils sont tous habillés à leur manière et tous très élégants, surtout dans la salle. Quel plaisir pour les yeux de voir autant d’élégance chez les femmes et les hommes ! D’ailleurs on vous demande de retirer votre chapeau, casquette ou bonnet pour les hommes uniquement. C’est un lieux rempli d’émotion. C’est un lieu pour l’esprit, pour la prière. Et on le voit. Bcp de gens se lâchent, crient, dansent et chantent. Le gospel quoi ! Ça vous entraîne dans ce sens et vous faites pareil. C’est vraiment un moment de partage, de joie et de fête. C’est totalement différent des messes classiques catholiques que l’ont peu connaître en France. À voir !!

Une expérience unique...on nous a refusé l'accès pour la messe de dimanche matin ! J'avais déjà lu des retours à ce sujet et il semble que les touristes ne soient pas les bienvenus dans la maison du seigneur. C'est assez honteux et faites le point avant d'y aller car c'est aujourd'hui très filtré...je ne vais pas m'étendre sur le sujet, et voir une célébration le dimanche matin à Harlem devient aujourd'hui très compliqué. Bref, passez votre chemin et renseignez-vous bien avant d'y aller.
The ceremony is very emotional and really engaging. The priest is a very good orator able to involve and rush the observants. I recommend ro turists to assist to one worship, but to do it with respect and interest.
Aller assister à une messe gospel le dimanche matin (lieux et horaire trouver sur internet) c'est vraiment à faire, de l'énergie et de la joie ! Prenez à prendre de l'argent liquide une domation est très recommandée Dans cette église/temple les touristes sont installés tout en haut (intérieur immense gradin style théâtre), et on peut sortir quand on veut car l'office dure 3 h et du coup on ne gênepas les fidèles, même le Pasteur à changé pour aller manger !

My brother went to this church before he moved to Far Rockaway queens and at that time I was going to Bethel Gospel Assembly in Harlem. In time I changed my church and start going to The Greater Refuge Temple and I was baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ at this church on 2/19/23 and I ask GOD for forgiveness of my sins and now I in all my heart I live for my Lord Jesus Christ and I love Him so much that I obey His commandments and His Calling. Glory to GOD ALMIGHTY. Come and come all and give GOD ALMIGHTY what belongs to Him and come to the Lord Jesus Christ be baptized in His mighty name before it's too late and you be with those that reject Him and that place is the lake of fire. Sae your soul and come to Christ The Lord. Peace Be With You! ! !
