The Great Room Cafe - Cafe in Redondo Beach - 2810 Artesia Blvd, USA

I walked here from my mechanic's, hankering for breakfast and coffee, and I was not disappointed. The pancakes are fluffy and huge (a great value for your money) and the dalgona coffee is delicious. The waitress recommended it iced, and she was absolutely right -- iced is amazing. If you're a creamy coffee lover, I'd highly recommend it! The service at the cafe was top notch, super friendly staff, and very speedy delivery. The atmosphere is nice and cozy as well, with lots of spacious seating! I'll definitely be coming back here!

Just had dinner here.. STILL GREAT FOOD AND SERVICE.. THERE'S ALSO A SECRET MENU!! GETS EVEN BETTER☆☆!! I'm not one to just give 5☆s ! This place really deserves all ☆s. Everytime I been here the service has been great. The employees have a great attitude and really seem to appreciate the customers. The Food is equally AMAZING & FRESH. The wife and I have tried multiple dishes and each time we are impressed with flavor and taste. The last component that brings this place all together for me is the atmosphere. It's a cross between the set of Friends and Cheers. Not a stuffy congested fast food chain or an overpriced snobby restaurant. I'm elated that everytime I go there it's pretty empty but at the same time I'm disappointed that not enough people know about this GEM. Give it a try and share your thoughts.. curious to see if others feel the same way I do about this place.

Here we go again, followers or first-time reviewers. Looking for a new place after church and we came to this Cafe. Tons tart you have to order first and then pay! I guess this is the new "trend" My wife ordered the calamari and chicken caesar salad, and we order a breakfast burger w an egg on top! And veggie omelet! First, the calamari was an imitation that looks like cheese sticks very rubbery!! The meat on the hamburger was very old and dry when I requested medium! No flavor and feels like lots of wet brown paper, that's how bad the burger was! My daughter didn't want to eat the omelet, all soggy and blunt! Chicken caesar was very dry chicken and had no flavor! Sprite and Coffee lukewarm and no refills and no one came to our table to see how we we're doing? Very expensive for a cafe that has no service and no refills I walk around and they had 3 parties of 3 ppl each and the staff looks so busy doing what? IDK??? Since I work in the Food and Beverage Hospitality this cafe needs a makeover from the food flavor and menu selection to the way ppl order their food! Food stars 1 service 1.

This definitely was a unique experience. I searched in Google for a local coffee shop and Great Room came up. Not sure what I expected but this was not it. This was both good and bad. I was looking for a neighborhood coffee shop to get some new beans etc. This places coffee is just coffee bean. So if you're looking for local coffee, This is not that place. The space itself is huge and seems like it would be good for a study group or something. It also had a more bar and grill type vibe with more food than coffee options, not a ton of milk substitute options, and tvs throughout. Might be good for food but definitely not the cute Cafe that's quiet and cozy if that's what you were looking for.

Awesome atmosphere! Has something for all ages. Love the adult lounge! I am a foodie and was impressed with the food selection. This is the perfect place to meet a friend for lunch with an upscale atmosphere while your kids play often supervised out of sight. The game room was very well stocked for older kids in this techie generation. I met the owner who was very professional and friendly. I'll definitely be back!

Amazing option for breakfast (and more) in the South Bay. One of the best Avocado Toast I’ve tried, that’s for sure. The place is gorgeous and cozy, lots of sofas, etc, much more than any other place around here. It even has fabulous separate spaces for kids to play and hang (requires extra pay). I’ll be back often.

We really wanted to like this place. It seems fun, with the game room and communal seating. However, the food is just not restaurant quality. From avocado toast that was literally plain loaf bread with overcooked eggs and cut slices of avocado, to the super plain quesadilla - nothing tastes any better than what I can make quickly at home. Outside of meeting a large group of people here for some reason, you'd get a better meal by just driving to the grocery store and picking something up from their counter.
