The Grand Tea Room - Tea house in Escondido - 145 W Grand Ave, USA

I had a grand time indeed at the Grand Tea Room with some former work buddies. It was serendipitous that I was able to attend (I live out of state). It was also somewhat bittersweet as I recalled my last visit here for Mother's Day 2022 with my mother. Our last one together. She passed away in February this year. I treasure that memory.❤️ I look forward to future visits to The Grand Tea Room.

A delish high tea experience. The cakes and scones were tasty and savory foods a nice changes from sweet.

Everything was beautiful!!! However the sad situation came up when we were practically invited/forced to leave the premises because we "just ordered" something equivalent to perhaps 1.5 hours and supposed to leave. I just had a loss in my family, and thought attending The Grand Tea Room could it be a way to reconnect to myself with the company of a dear friend. We both were very disappointed with the last part of our experience at this Tea Room.

Probably one of the most interesting places I’ve been to. Great staff. I just got a couple teas to-go, but this is a legitimate English tea time spot. To dine in you need reservation and they bring out full on “Bridgerton” style spread with all the fine china. Cool little experience. You can tell that all the staff love what they do. It’s a fine establishment.

We went for high tea at the Grand Tea room and had a grand time indeed! When our friend suggested we go, I was worried they wouldn’t have a vegan menu (but they do!) They also have an extensive list of teas — you’re sure to find something for everyone at your table! There’s indoor and outdoor seating and plenty of street parking as well! What a fun experience that you’ve got to try at least once! ☕️

What a wonderful experience!!! This was everything we could have wanted and more. The decor is exactly what you'd expect in a tea room. So many pretty tea sets decorate this themed dining room. We had an absolutely beautiful pink rose matching tea set at our table. They also have outdoor seating if you prefer that. There are so many different teas to choose from!! Definitely something for everyone. We chose to do the "Grand Tea" Afternoon Tea. What we were most pleased with were the gluten free options. They were absolutely delicious and they were able to do the whole Grand Tea gluten free which was amazing. We really enjoyed our experience here and will definitely be back.

My family made our 4th visit to "The Grand Tea Room" but this time we dined outside under a tent with other socially distanced diners. This experience was just as exciting as our previous indoor experiences. Each table had their own coordinating tea sets and the food and teas were delicious!!! They have the best selections of loose teas to choose from. I purchased five loose teas..one that we drank during our "High Tea" and four additional flavors I'm excited to try. You can still wear your fancy hats to add to the experience. This is a Must Visit place! You need a reservation because they are always busy and popular but in my opinion...it's worth it!! 💖💖💖

This place is fabulous!!! The staff was great and the owner (who is hands on) is just the sweetest gem of a lady! The tea is the best I've ever had... I had the Plum! The food was excellant and the atmosphere perfect. Even the POWDER ROOM is beautiful! We had a marvelous time and will go back. The 3 hour drive was worth it! 👌😁❣❣❣❣❣
