The Grand Sandestin - Condominium complex in Miramar Beach - 9500 Grand Sandestin Blvd, USA

Absolutely gorgeous grounds!!! The landscaping and care of the property is well done. Our room was very nice and well cared for. Maintenance was prompt in helping us with the sinks (user error) and a toilet (not flushing). The coffee at the bar was very good. The location for us was perfect. The guys golfed and we all explored Baytown which was easy walking distance. We loved the rooftop bar next door at Hotel Effie. The shared pool was spacious and warm. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!!

The room was nice. They are outdated. They could use an overhaul. It could have been vacuumed a bit more. There were crumbs on the furniture and some loose hairs in the shower and other areas. Outlets to directly charge electronics would be nice. The bed is super firm. Not the best sleep for me.

Only 4 for service due to lack of wash cloths. I called prior to leaving that morning and explained that they came in and left us all new towels but no wash cloths and I mean we are going to the beach!? Only to come back HOURS later and still have none. I understand they have alot to take care of and this was small but....i feel after calling in the AM before leaving they should have been there by the time we returned. Our bed frame broke! It took a bit but maintenance came and put a new frame up and all was good! I do feel they try to take excellent care of their guests.

Pretty ridiculous to have to pay for valet to park your car when you can see the parking lot from the entrance and could easily park yourself. Would be SO MUCH more convenient to be able to go get your vehicle whenever you need it instead of waiting for valet to pull it around. Also, it would be nice if the pool didn't close so early. Why close at 9 when most other places are open till at least 11? All the staff we encountered were nice. That's about all the positive feedback I can give.

My wife and I came into town not really knowing what to expect from the massive array of Beach and Golf resorts and associated guest room accommodations available at Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort. Having stayed at both the HGV hotel by the Baytown Marina and the Elation condo building next to the Grand Sandestin complex (adjacent to Baytown Wharf and Shoppes) I can now tell you that golf and beach are the best parts of this resort, there are great walking paths along the Burnt Pine 🌲 golf course the Fairmont Heritage resort and the Toscana villas and Subdivision BUT the beach is a shuttle ride across the street from these beautiful bayside resort s and the highway 🛣️ in between is too busy to walk across. The Destin (full service) Hilton and Beach house bar and grill or Serenity Condo complex are right on the beach. Every restaurant in town has the same tire dried out frozen Mahi and Coconut shrimp 🍤 and most guest rooms do not have a kitchen.

This was our third family visit to the resort, and this was the most disappointing year. I have given Grand Sandestin Resort multiple opportunities to have a conversation about some of the issues; however, it is apparent that customer service is lip service only. The accommodations were nice; however, there were a couple items that required attention. One of the kids slipped on moving tiles in one of the bedrooms, and one of the sinks in the bathroom had a draining issue. During our visit, I received an email survey where both items were mentioned. I later received a text message stating maintenance would come. No one ever came to address the issues. I reported the concerns multiple times, and maintenance never arrived. A child had an incident in the smaller pool and was reported four times. An hour later, I was informed the delay was due to an associate not reporting to maintenance as "it was not time for a First Service schedule". It was then stressed to the employee that other guests were attempting to swim in the pool after a child vomited in the pool. The employee did not see the concern as a health concern or a priority. All of the incidents were reported and again stated in a survey received a day after checking out. As I type this Google review, I have yet to hear from the resort. I am very disappointed in the customer service this year. I am unsure if our family will return next year.

I am always saddened by the additional costs that are not obvious on the Expedia site. The resort fee of $45.00 a day. Just put it on your published room rate.(As a consumer, I recognize you are trying to appear competitive) The $25.00 self park daily fee ridiculous. Nothing remarkable about our stay! Younger staff associates very sweet. Including friendly Bell hops and pool associates.

We have vacationed at the Grand Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort every year for the past nine years. Staying in one of the many available Sandestin condos, private homes, or beach side towers is a fully immersing vacation experience. Private beach, private golf course, private shopping, dining, and adventure venue, Welcome to Baytowne Wharf.
