We had an amazing anniversary here! The entire day was great. We started off rocky (cause of a personal mistake) but the staff found a way around it for us. The spa is a great place to relax and they are very caring with any extra and different needs. Extremely attentive staff. The rooms are very well set up for a night stay. They may seem dated but I didn't come here to stay in a room, I came for the pools and the bars and those were all amazing. The night staff was very informative though they may lack the charm from the day crew they make sure you well taken care of and safe. When your here you forget you are still in Ohio. Also the roman pool is open 24/7!!
Fabulous getaway - everything was perfect! Went to celebrate our 40th anniversary and was blown away by how special our getaway was. ||From the pools to the Roman bath to sitting out on the patio at night and the restaurants and of course the golfing. ||We ordered the chocolate covered strawberries and rose petals with towel art for our room when we arrived. ||Corrie who helped plan our getaway was terrific. She worked with us the entire time and we even got to personally thank her at the resort when we met her. ||The staff was all so helpful and friendly.|We didn’t want to leave. It was beautiful the moment we arrived to when we left. We will be back!!
All I can say is wow. I never knew a place this amazing was in my own backyard. My sister booked this for us for my birthday. Best gift ever. The customer service is outstanding and our bell man Corey deserves 5 stars. He delivered everything out of my truck. The young lady at the front desk, I’m sorry I didn’t get her name. ( I will edit it later) She is tall, blond, gorgeous smile and was working on 8/22 between 4-5 yesterday evening. She was also so welcoming and inviting. Even the customers are friendly, I chatted with a lady in the hallway for 20 min or so. The rooms are cozy with an amazing view. I will definitely be back.
I would say the facilities and amenities are excellent! Only 2 issues we had were the TV was ridiculously hard to navigate as it always was 'initializing' taking 3-5 minutes everytime it needed to do that. Also, bar service when we were in the pool waiting for a server was average at best.....And i say that b/c the place wasn't crowded at all. |other than that the staff was friendly and the place is beautiful!
WOW! What a gorgeous resort! Spotless, fantastic staff, beautiful pools (Roman was the favorite) Cigar lounge was our favorite spot next to the Pool bar. Jacuzzi suite room was beautiful and spacious - stocked with water, coffee / Keurig and very comfortable. Room cleaned promptly each day. A bit pricey for us ($470 each night with all the taxes) but we had won a one night's stay and decided to stay another for a mini vacay. Highly recommend. The golf courses are beautiful - hard though for me - but husband played well (Squaw course) also $$ at $100 for two and a cart for 9 holes on a Thursday.
First time here and WOW what an experience. Hotel was spotless, rooms were clean and beautiful, golf was amazing and the spa was awesome. Joey our waiter at the wine bar was top notch. Remembered us from the day before and knew exactly what we wanted. He is by far the best waiter we have ever had anywhere. We can’t wait to go back.
Overall a nice place. Plenty to keep you busy even a recreation center. I didn't care for the food at the restaurant but the Hepburn salad was delicious! The management didn't seem to care about my complaints about the food. The location was a plus
Sure this hotel is far from perfect but to have a beautiful resort less than an hour from Cleveland is amazing. Service is always great. Good food drinks and multiple pools. Free community center with tons of sports and an arcade. Beautiful golf course. And a cigar bar to boot. My wife and I love coming here.
