The Grand Hotel Spindletop & Event Center - Hotel in Beaumont - 2525 N 11th St, USA

Room was actually very clean, and surprisingly it was really nice! I will say…..this IS an older hotel, very “vintage”, however we love staying at older historical places. It was quiet, and felt safe. Only issue we had, our first room the battery in the door went out, and we’re moved to a new room. The staff was very helpful. I read other reviews and they must have stayed there a long time ago, because our experience was positive and the rooms and hotel looked completely different. I believe they rent out part of their extremely large parking lot to a truck driving school, kinda fun watching them kids learning to drive big trucks, haha. I was told that they have been getting it cleaned up and been working on it for a few years now. Apparently, Sherry, the Manager of the hotel is the driving force behind all the good changes. Regretfully, we did not meet her, told she was in Chicago. Good 👍 job!

The pool was wet very refreshing very clean. Rooms are huge. Showers were hot very refreshing. Beds were comfortable but so high I almost broke my hip trying to get in them overall a good experience Hallways were very, very creepy. I had to run for my life to get back in my room.

The staff is so rude. Almost every one of them. There is a foreign man who works who us a sweetheart. Other than that they have no customer service skills. They want to put you on the 5th floor and the air conditioners are messed up. It is extremely hot. My mom asked for a carpet cleaner EVERYDAY for almost 3 weeks. Every day they had a different excuse of why she couldn't have it or get it done. Then when I finally went down there to say something THE MAIN MANAGER lied straight to my face!

Had a very nice room and slept great in an extremely comfortable bed. Staff was nice. It was the nicest and the least expensive room I stayed in on my trip from Florida to San Diego. Definitely want to stay there on my way back!

This place was just bad. The whole place smells. I was outside Appling cleaner to My tires and the old man I'm guessing the owner just watching the camera Come outside and tell me I can't even work on my own truck. Iv stayed in 47 states in the country and never heard no ridiculous rule like that. The TV wasn't working buttons smashed in. And the front desk girl with the fake eye lashes just really ghetto and unprofessional I don't recommend this place for your family

Horrible lodging experience. Staff was extremely rude. The whole hotel from the elevator to our room smelled of must and mildew. Shower didn't work at all. And definitely wouldn't recommend taking a bath in the filthy stained tub. The bedding looked and smelled as if it hadn't been changed in a while. Stay Away from this Hotel. 0 Stars if that was available

My husband and I had a great stay. Quite and very safe. The bed was comfortable we slept great. The lady that checked us (Roxy) she was great and very helpful. She went above and beyond to make are stay great. Thank you Roxy. We will definitely go back and stay again.
