The Grand Hotel & Ballroom - Hotel in McKinney - 114 W Louisiana St, USA

We chose this place because it is on McKinney TX Square. It did not disappoint. Elegant style in an old building with a clean fresh feeling throughout. The room was unique in decor with lush towels and robes to use. We had a nice sitting area with library outside our door at the end of a hall which felt like it was part of our room. The staff was very friendly. Many great restaurants and shopping close by made it a wonderful getaway for our 52 wedding anniversary.

Really great historic downtown (small town) hotel. Tons of character, clean and comfortable. High tech enough for frequent business travelers. Take the stairs at least once if you stay here - lots of old western art. The bar next door is super cozy and classy.

The rooms are really small. Very old building and there always a smell. Not to much to see in the hotel. It does have some old vibes but not worth the money. The front desk was really nice.

So friend coming to town to eat BBQ and hang out a couple days so I booked a spot in a cute town called mckinney. The hotel was adorable on the main town streets that were lined with adorable boutique stores for hats, candy treats, a general store, breakfast lunch and dinner options lined up around corners. The room was clean and fresh feeling with quaint style. Service and food were a great addition since I had wanted to sleep in one morning. Front desk was helpful in recommendations as well. Parking was close enough and the whole experience was delightful

Fabulous boutique hotel right on the square. The rooms and facilities are impeccably maintained. The staff are always friendly, respectful and helpful. This is our go to place for a little McKinney getaway.

I stayed here for 3 nights and it was great! At first I was worried with the "old" looking building, but was very pleasantly surprised by the charm! My entire family stayed here for an event and we are all in agreement with the cleanliness of the rooms, the comfort of the bed, specially the pillows! Very cozy, warm, inviting front area, makes you feel like you are hanging out in your grandmas' living room.

This hotel is absolutely beautiful! The room I stayed in was a dog friendly room, because I had my small dog with me, & it was stunning. Spacious room, large bathroom, & everything was very clean. The bed was cozy & the room had a large closet with fresh bath robes. The lobby has a beautiful sitting area with a fire place & there is also a bar lounge along with a gorgeous ballroom. Quiet, cozy, & warming hotel with fantastic service. Check in was quick & the location is hard to beat! Highly recommend.
