Absolutely loved this place. Amazing value, they should definitely be charging more. The rooms have the classic feel without being old. Bed was comfortable. The owners have such great attention to detail with things like fresh flower arrangements in the room (pic) and coffee in the lobby. The location is perfect for Okemo skiing and within walking distance to downtown restaurants (worth making reservations as it got pretty busy downtown). The homemade breakfast also very good and so well thought out. If they have vacancy, just book you won’t regret it.
Came for a few of days of skiing and had a great stay. The place was very charming and quiet. It’s about a 6-7 min drive away from Okemo. The hosts were extremely kind and went the extra mile to make sure we were comfortable. They have breakfast, but not the kind that hotels normally do, where they leave stuff out for guests. They do a daily menu with a starter, 1st, and 2nd courses, all of which were delicious. Would definitely come back here.
What a gem! We felt welcomed and cared for from the moment we arrived. The accommodations were clean, cozy and comfortable. Many wonderful small touches that I really appreciated - fresh flowers, Lindt chicolates... The breakfast was delicious - and served on china! Can't wait to return. This place is really enchanting.
We had a lovely time @ the Inn; Rosie & Holger were delightful! Breakfasts were scrumptious 😋 & we were lucky enough to have dinner here one night as well, with our hiker friends- very delicious 🤤|Great recommendations for things to do from Nancy! Go to Queechee Gorge- you won't regret it!! Beautiful scenery all the way there & back! Ludlow & the surrounding areas are so picturesque!! Can't wait to go back sometime! 🤍🤍
An absolutely exquisite Victorian, restored to perfection. Elegant and charming, with lovely antiques, yet very comfortable. Very comfortable room, with luxury touches like fluffy robes. The hosts (originally from Germany) bring a touch of European elegance to their B&B, right down to the pretty china used at breakfast. Breakfast was not only delicious, but very creative and beautifully presented. Very warm and welcoming, helpful with recommendations for dinner and local attractions. We'd go back in a heartbeat!
Very convenient location, and the perfect setting for a weekend getaway. The hosts were gracious and served a delicious an unique breakfast each morning. The room was quaint and just what we were looking for. We got to take a peak in the suite selection as well and it looked stunning. Would definitely recommend.
We had a wonderful weekend in this charming inn set in the heart of Ludlow VT. The rooms had all of the amenities you would expect in a nice Inn, including bathrobe, toiletries, small fridge stocked with soda and water, fireplace , sewing kit, etc. you don’t need a coffee maker because they serve a large breakfast with plenty of fresh brewed coffee and several courses of food. We had to ask for half portions because the breakfast was so filling ! The innkeepers are wonderful, friendly and knowledgeable. They recommended a great dinner place , along with other local happenings going on in town. We will come back for sure - I spent my wedding night here!
We have great memories of going to The Governor's Inn over 35 years ago and have always wanted to go back. It did not disappoint! - Wonderful atmosphere in the Inn; Hogar & Rosie are the perfect hosts meeting our every need!! The breakfasts were delicious and the coffee - awesome!! We'll be back!
MAKE RESERVATIONS. This place was fantastic but packed on a Saturday night (as all good places are) We did not have a reservation but were told they have walk in hour from 4-5pm, we got there at 4:30 and there was already an hour wait. Fortunately Er
Women's Alpine Adventure is a fantastic event! ð I had the pleasure of working with Sue G. and she is a phenomenal instructor. 5â She is great at helping you adjust your form and coaching you through your rough spots. If you're newish to skiing,
This place is incredibly good. The owner cares a ton about what he does and it shows. He clearly works his tail off. Super friendly. The breakfast sandoâs were incredibly delicious and the coffee was strong and flavorful. Love these kinda sp
