This is a little hidden gem in downtown Naples. The outside was fresh and inviting with charming striped awnings and flowers in front of each unit. The rooms are spacious and clean. When we first walked in it smelled clean and fresh. The beds were super comfortable and they have a small kitchenette for longer stays. Shower was roomy and had great water pressure. They even provided chairs, towels, and umbrellas for the beach which is within walking distance. The owner met us upon arrival and walked us to our room. He even brought us some brochures of things to do in Naples and told us where to go for shopping and whatnot. Very friendly and welcoming. I loved the electronic door locks so we didn’t have to keep up with keys during our stay. Will definitely come back here on our next trip.
Highly recommend The Gondolier Inn in Naples. We loved the vibe and everything about our stay here. The location was perfect— easy walk to the beach and restaurants— in a quiet residential neighborhood. We appreciated the thoughtful amenities as well— mini kitchen, beach gear (towels, chairs and umbrella), and laundry facilities. Kebel was a very pleasant and accommodating host. We’d definitely stay here again.
Pink, mid-century, clean and retro charm! As you drive up to this charming motel in the heart of Olde Naples, you feel like you are stepping back in time to when vacations were about the beach, sun and sand between your toes. Our Queen-suite was nicely remodeled, comfortable and allowed us to really have a relaxing long weekend. We could walk to the beach (beach chairs, towels and umbrella provided) and restaurants. The owner was attentive, friendly, and yet we felt like we had a lot of privacy. This is a great boutique motel for anyone who loves independent travel. We'll be back! @anotefromthecoast
The disappearance of Old Florida's authentic charm is disheartening, but the Gondolier Inn retains its vintage allure. We appreciated the use of beach chairs, umbrellas, and ice for our visits to the beach. Our room had a beautifully made-up king bed that we found soft, lumpy, and uncomfortable.
My family and I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Gondolier Inn for one night. We were drawn to this historic property for its quaint character, nostalgia, and amazing location just a few blocks from the shopping and dining hub of 3rd Street South, as well as its proximity to the beach.
Upon arriving, we were immediately struck by the property's cleanliness and charm. The 1950s architecture was wonderful and timeless, and the property had a quiet and peaceful ambiance that felt like a throwback to a quieter time. Our room was impeccably clean, modern, and well-appointed. The decor perfectly captured the retro feel of the property while also providing all the modern amenities one would expect from a high-end hotel.
The kitchenette was well stocked, and everything worked perfectly. The air conditioning unit was easy to use and worked well in the hot Florida sun, ensuring we were comfortable throughout our stay. The sleeper sofa was perfect for our kids, and they loved the novelty of sleeping on it. The private bedroom was great for mommy and daddy, and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was fun, nostalgic, and perfectly retro.
Overall, our experience at the Gondolier Inn was beautiful, wonderful, retro, nostalgic, modern, clean, enjoyable, and perfect. We appreciated the attention to detail and the care that went into preserving the property's vintage aesthetic while providing all the modern amenities we needed.
We would love to stay at the Gondolier Inn again in the future and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and charming place to stay in Naples. Very very nice location, very good wellcome! The room is like the picture, big and nice, with a small nice kitchen, coffee machine and water. The bathroom is little, but ok. The beds are very big and confortable. So close to the beach. I will reserve every time I'll be in Naples!! thank you
Fantastic service! I called the day before checking in to see if I could check in early. I used the suite as a getting ready suite for my wedding. They made sure the room was ready early and brought us a lovely bottle of champagne as well.
After the wedding my husband and I spent the night in the room, very comfy, clean and just altogether a great experience! Definitely recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay in Naples!
