Freaking phenomenal! First time here and it impresses! I mean the location is second to none. Absolutely beautiful backdrop to a laid back but also upscale dining experience. Wait staff is attentive without being overbearing. Food is creative while being approachable. 11/10. Will be coming back!
Great spot at the end of the lake. They have a new hot and cold dip each day with homemade pita. Highly recommend the homemade pasta as well! Beautiful lake views and I love it because I can bring my pup with me.
The food here is soooo good. For an off beaten path restaurant the pasta, blue cheese, ranch, French fries, pumpkin pie all homemade and so good. The pizza and wings are some of the best I have had. Wings are crispy and oversized, sauces are so yummy. Everything about my first time going there was definitely 5 stars plus!! My server Wendy was awesome. Very attentive to my order to anything I needed and was very prompt. Can't wait to come back again and again and summer time is a MUST being that it's next to Skaneateles Lake. They have a beautiful front deck that you can eat and drink and I'm sure the views will be picture perfect!! They also have airbnb so if you're looking for a place this is it!! Thank you Glen Haven I WILL SEE YOU AGAIN!! The menu does change with the seasons - just FYI - I looked at menu online before going and when I got there not everything was on the menu, but they had plenty else to choose from.
We absolutely love The Glen Haven. Super laid back, casual atmosphere with an outdoor deck facing the lake. If you are looking for upscale, this is not your place. If you’re looking for a casual, fun, lakeside restaurant to hang out with a few friends or family and have some tasty food, then Glen Haven is for you! Family friendly, dog friendly, just an overall relaxed, fun vibe. This old building certainly shows its age and the chairs/tables are well worn - but that all adds to the charm. One of our favorite places in the area.
Nice view of the south tip of Skaneatles Lake. Jen, our waitress, was great. The food was satiating and met our expectations; fresh and homemade, even the bread!
Great dinner tonight! It was very busy with people waiting for tables. All of our choices were spot on, delivered in a timely manner, hot and delicious! Prices comparable to other local venues. Glad to see The Glen Haven back, busy and so good!!
Great employees and food. Kind of noisy and some seating is close in proximity (porch and seating inside/above)
Hamburger was fine but nothing special. Most other items on menu were unavailable. Service was slow. Not run like a business. Felt like an unexpected visitor to someone's home (and this was 5:30 prime meal time on Sunday)
This place was a last-minute stop, but boy it didn't disappoint. Our waitress went over the menu and suggested a few item which we did try. They are know for their burgers, which were very good. Over larger portions for the price. Food was very hot
Was in Homer for a basketball tournament. Stopped in to eat before the game. Decided on subs. Mine a ham, Mags a chicken Parm. It's all about the bread! The roll was perfect, making each bite worth it. I had half and saved the rest for home (10pm). M
