This is a nice area. I went here and was satisfied with my experience. This is a grove filled with sequoia trees and there are numerous hiking trails that go through these groves. There’s also a visitor center here with exhibits about sequoia trees and a portion of a sequoia trunk. The parking lot for the visitor center here is also surrounded by sequoias. The Bettle Rock trail is a nice quick stroll from the parking lot to a large boulder with great views of nearby mountains. I gave this area five stars because it’s filled with giant sequoias and it has nice hiking trails.
This is such a magical place. It's amazing that everything was perfect for these trees to grow to their fullest potential in this area only. It's humbling to simply stand in their presence and imagine everything they've witnessed and survived in their lifetime.
Beautiful forest trail through area of mature sequoias, easy walking and peaceful calming atmosphere.
Un endroit merveilleux où celui qui sait regarder pourra découvrir ces géants, maîtres du temps et temoins de l'humanité.
What an incredible day we had exploring the giant forest. Highly recommend the walk from the museum via the Alta trail to the Sherman tree and then loop back via Congress trail and the Circle Meadow, so many amazing sights and the trees are spectacular.
This is a region where you can trek. The region consists of some of the largest tree clusters on the planet.

Gorgeous mountain views the sound of the river flowing downstream was so relaxing. Make sure you wear comfortable shoes for the walk. Parking is limited.
The very first stop at the Sequoia National Park is the Tunnel Rock. Tunnel Rock is a giant flat granite rock that has been dug and transformed into a tunnel. In the past cars could be driven through the tunnel, not anymore though. But you can walk u
Great local place next to the river. You can watch the rafters float by while having your meal. Super friendly staff. I had breakfast and my eggs were perfect. A simple but rare feat. Definitely go when in the area.
