This is one of the upscale restaurant in Seattle. I took my husband here for his birthday and it was memorable. The service and atmosphere is impeccable. The naval wall art was so intriguing and outside library was regal. As a vegetarian options were limited for me but still good. Appetizers were good and server surprised us with tiny birthday dessert platter.
This is a beautiful restaurant with excellent service, and a nice menu. A good choice for a business meeting or even a date. The place is bright with high ceilings and natural light, a contrast to the darker library themed bar that you have to walk through. The only reason I'm not giving it five stars is because the food was pretty good but not exceptional. My scallops were dry. The roasted carrots looked like they had better days. Overall, I would still come back and would just order something different.
It’s hard to say what’s the best here: the food, the service, or how effing beautiful this space is! I went twice and had the oatmeal, avocado toast and bacon, tea, green juice, and a mimosa. Both of my servers were helpful and accommodating. The food was great. I couldn’t stop my neck from twisting in every direction, just trying to catch every beautiful detail! Love love love
The George is a wonderful place to dine-in. The service and atmosphere are excellent. Staff is very professional and friendly. They explained every detail of our dishes. I went with my wife and ordered. Food was amazing. It may be difficult to find parking. There's a paid parking garage close by.
This is a landmark location that will provide a landmark experience. The George is not only an amazing place to go but it's a wonderful place to dine. Parking is gonna be tough as it is downtown Seattle. But it is well worth the time. The staff was friendly and professional. They made every action to make things special for our dinner. The food was top notch and so were the drinks. Celebrate here! Midas 5-stars for the atmosphere and quality of foods and drinks.
Long overdue but my experience in August for a private dining event with The George was absolutely phenomenal. They were so accommodating, friendly, and attentive. I only WISH this staff and space had been available when we were wedding planning as I would've loved to have this team for our Rehearsal Dinner. Bertram was our go-to for the evening and he was probably the nicest and most attentive server I've had the pleasure of working with. We were a group of 12 and in conjunction with two of his peers, they constantly made sure our drinks were replenished and food orders were carried out perfectly. Leading up to the event I worked with Riley who was incredibly patient through me finalizing RSVPs, adjusting menus, and coordinating floral delivery. Riley also worked with my husband behind the scenes for a birthday cake drop-off. I would enthusiastically recommend and encourage anyone thinking about an event here to do it! We were in the Petite and it was a beautiful and unique space.
The George has great interior that attracts lot of people. I was also amazed by how beautiful the interior of the place. The service was great as servers made sure customers are being taken care of. We went for weekend brunch and the food was good! I personally loved the salmon lox carpaccio - it was good combination of salmon egg and veggies. For main I ordered fried chicken steak which was quite fulfilling! And rest were good too! I would visit to share the experience with newcomers! For drinks - id recommend Bellini!
Weekend brunch menu delivers! We started off with mimosas. You can also choose from a selection of Brut, Bellinis and fruit juices. Then the scone cart was rolled in. Our group went for the 3 course menu. We got to try different things as our family was sharing. Favorite first course was the butternut squash bisque and favorite main close was the carbonara pasta. We substituted mushrooms for salmon roe. Desserts were alright. Creme brûlée was better than others.
It was my last night in Seattle, and I wanted to have a great seafood meal before leaving town! The menu here caught my eye and knew I had to try this place. I was definitely not disappointed, and it ended up being my best meal during my trip! From
The hype and recognition really is worth it! First, the entrance is lovely. You are welcomed by a toasty fireplace (fall/winter) before being greeted by a host! Someone happily brings you to your table. The view is outstanding, depending on where you

My wife and I came here by accident. We were both very pleasantly surprised by the taste of real coffee. But the main thing is a pleasant atmosphere, unobtrusive quiet music, a cultured audience and very friendly staff. A small coffee shop with a big
