The Gateway Inn of Oak Lawn - Featured Reviews (291)
I enjoyed my stay here at the Gateway Inn! It really is home away from home. It was very quiet and I felt safe during my solo stay. The family that runs the place are very pleasant and helpful! The rooms were clean and well kept up. You can tell the room is a little dated, but it gives a “homey” feel.
Awesome place to stay!!! Excellent rooms, tidy, clean, cable, and quiet. The room looks just like the pictures.great costumer service and very friendly workers / office staff. Location is very close to main roads and lots of other businesses. Great place to stay for a week!
Good little motel. Was clean and quiet. No complaints. Good location, lots of food around. Free breakfast, nothing fancy, waffles, coffee, boil eggs, and cereal. All I needed. Reasonable drive to navy pier, museum of science and industry. Would stay again if in Chicago
The room was clean. The bathroom was clean (no hair on the sink, toilet, or in the shower). Parking right in front of your door (it's an Inn, not a hotel). The furniture is a little dated; but heh didn't really matter. Staff was incredibly polite. Felt safe there for the most part. Free breakfast from like 7am - 11am. Although we skipped it and went to Cafe 63. Overall, it was a pleasant experience for a last-minute spot to rest our heads.
My cousin and I had a great weekend stay here! The room was really clean and comfortable. The sheets on the beds were freshly laundered and smelled amazing. There was free continental breakfast at the check in office too. Best of all the manager was really friendly and kind. I definitely recommend staying here if you're traveling to Chicago!!
Had a blast at the Gateway Inn!! Great service, great front desk, friendly staff. It was nice to stay here for such a good price and it was close to our music festival. Will come back again!!
The Gateway Inn is one of the quiet hideaways that I needed this weekend, as I was recuperating from a Sciatic Nerve eruption… that made it extremely painful to walk. I must say… the ownership team that were on-site, were the most gracious hosts! Any request I had. Was met with genuine “Customer-First” Customer Service. There was a generous amount of availability from the staff, and of meeting the requests from the customers. Believe me when I say; “The Gateway Inn is a place that feels like the comforts of home!” Should you decide to spend a couple of days recuperating… or just getting away for a few days. You can’t go wrong with choosing to stay at the Gateway Inn! I will return to stay… more than just a one-time visit. I’m confident in saying; “I’ve found a home-away-from-home..!!” B. This motel was everything we needed. Small, but not tiny. In a great location. Lots and lots of food options/stores around in walking distance, close to the L train station, and service was great. Staff was accommodating and friendly, and we felt safe the whole time. They even provide breakfast, which i wasnt expecting since it is a motel. Definitely worth staying!
The strawberry lemonade with mango boba was so good and tasted fresh. I always go to Chinatown for boba but find myself in the oak lawn area a lot, Iâd have to say this boba tea shop is better than others in the area. Also the taro crepe cake was l

Cozy and cute place for milk tea. It's amazing that they have every Asian snack here. The milk tea tastes really natural like you can taste the tea, not just all sweet milk like many places in Chinatown. Totally recommended ð Just found out they s
