The Garrison Inn - Featured Reviews (15)
We were warmly welcomed to the The Garrison Inn by the hosts and their friendly dogs. Nestled on a beautiful forested hillside, the Inn provides rest and relaxation away from crowds and traffic. The common balcony provides a lovely view of the mountains and the numerous hummingbirds which frequent the birdfeeders. The breakfast menu is varied and everything we ordered was yummy. ||Next time we are in Montana we will book the Garrison Inn again.
The Garrison Inn is not to be missed. It is hard for me to decide what specific factors drive the excellence offered by the owners, but know that the owners offer a wonderful accommodation, a tremendous history as to how this excellence came to be, and hospitality that simply amazes me. And the two dogs are a welcoming committee and attentive companions for walks as well as sofa time. The inn sparkles with personal touches, every possible "want" is somehow met (maybe a dozen kinds of hot sauce one morning, when all I asked was for something to liven up the scrambled eggs?), and by all means take advantage of the opportunity to have dinner as well, and such a moderate added cost. The preparation, quality, and presentation of the evening meal should not be missed. And should you be interested in the building and the building process, be prepared to be amazed at what was accomplished here.||Truly an amazing accommodation. Enjoy this excellence as soon as you can.
Although our stay was very short, we had a wonderful time at the Garrison Inn. Anne Marie and Gene are wonderful hosts and their home is inviting and comfortable. We had an early flight out and they graciously got up early to see us off with coffee and breakfast burritos to go. Their two dogs are friendly and enthusiastic, which we appreciated as dog owners. |
Stayed at Garrison Inn in preparation for our daughter’s wedding. Couldn’t ask for a more beautiful view. The food was amazing and the bed comfortable. Highly recommend.
We so enjoyed our visit to the Garrison Inn. Gene and Ann Marie were delightful hosts. The view was amazing. Gene was quite a chef and made individual dinners for the four guests in the evening and then individual breakfasts the next morning. The meals were all delicious and unique. Our comfortable room and bath were well appointed and very quiet. Wish we could have stayed longer but had a plane flight home. The airport is about 30 minutes away and was an easy drive.
We truly enjoyed our overnight stay at the Garrison Inn. The owners opened their home/life to us, and provided a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Gene is a great chef! He has a great dinner menu and will customize to meet your requests as able ~~ Breakfast was outstanding with homemade jam too! Highly recommend!
My wife and I recently spent an entire week at The Garrison Inn while exploring Glacier National Park. It was a FANTASTIC experience. Gene, Ann Marie and Sitka made our stay there very comfortable and memorable. They truly opened their home up to us and made us feel like family.
The views from the cabin are gorgeous (not to mention the cabin itself)! Breakfast was great every morning and dinner was even better! As another reviewer stated, Gene's cooking was the best meal we had while on our week vacation!
We would like to thank the Garrisons' for making our trip comfortable, enjoyable, and most of all memorable. Their hospitality was above and beyond and we look forward to spending more time at the cabin in the future!
Gene and Anne Marie were wonderful hosts. Gene is a chef who cooked individual dinners and breakfasts for everyone there. The quiet room was well appointed with everything needed. And then, the view which was amazing. Wish we could have stayed longer but had to catch a plane home. Airport was an easy 30 min. ride from the Garrison Inn.
Wonderful concert venue. Comfortable seats and great sound system. Staff was super helpful in finding seats and offering information. Wish the lighting would have been a bit better, but that may have been the band's crew. Way too much bright white, w
