The Garden House Hotel 329 Elizabeth St., Key West, FL 33040||5 Stars||This is the first entry into Big Boy's review of boutique and Michelin-rated hotels. I start my worldwide journey in Key West. Upon entering The Garden House Hotel, the first thing one notices is that it is a first-class operation. This once-private residence is in the historic Old Town district of Key West. As such, it is footsteps away from Duval St., Mallory Square, and the Historic Seaport. Equipped with full and delightful concierge services, they are happy to help you plan any and all activities while visiting the area. Just a side note, their service is included in your stay, so no need to fear if you are not a member of the plutocracy, you can still enjoy their services and have a wonderful time.||All the guests hang out by the pool and bar, mingling in a friendly, open atmosphere. This is truly a delight. They have won many awards and I can see why. From Rhoda and Ray at the front desk to Lucas at the bar, the staff is outstanding in every way.||Tucked away on Elizabeth St., this deceivingly large estate is sprawling with its own botanical gardens, including local flora, fauna, and some turtles. The pool is sparkling clean and an inviting blue. The room? The room is large, gorgeous, welcoming, well-maintained, and surprisingly quiet. ||The Big Boy says, “For the first hotel review, this is top-notch and the bar has been set extremely high.

Our stay at the Garden House Bed and Breakfast was nothing short of exceptional. The property itself is a charming oasis, nestled in a beautifully landscaped garden that offers a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of Duval St.
Breakfast at the Garden House is an experience in itself. The hosts prepare a delicious waffles each morning topping with fresh, local fruit.
What truly sets the Garden House apart is the exceptional service. Sam is not only attentive and accommodating but also incredibly knowledgeable about the local area. He provided excellent recommendations for nearby attractions, restaurants, and activities, ensuring that our stay was both relaxing and enriching.

We had a great stay. We love the location near the harbor and close to Duval. Sammy was great, very nice! They have a good breakfast option to get the day started. Very cute private pool area to enjoy. We will definitely be back and bring friends.
The garden house is a small property with a big personality!! We stayed for 2 weeks and could not have been happier. The location is perfect, just a few blocks to Schooners or Duval but tucked away in a wonderful garden setting. The pool is nice and refreshing! We truly looked forward to the delicious bagels, waffles, yogurt parfait and fresh fruit each morning. The best part was Sammy the manager and KD, the sweetest dog ever!!!! Sammy was just such a delight, he was so helpful to us and all the guests. He also had us laughing hysterically... he is just a wonderful human being. The garden House is a perfect little piece of Key West... cozy, fun, and quirky!!
We booked a last minute trip to Key West and found an available room at The Garden house. The location is perfect close to Duval and the Harbor. The room was comfortable the breakfast was really good but what makes this place great is Sammy who genuinely loves what he does and is very knowledgeable when you need to know anything about the area! This place was fabulous! Rooms were very clean, housekeeping could not be more accommodating, and so pleasant. The pool area is beautiful with the plush foliage and decor.
BUT...the main attraction is the wonderful host, Sammy and his dog Katie! Sammy is seriously one of the best humans we've ever met. He couldn't do enough to ensure we were having a great time. Oh, and the breakfast he prepares, is out of this world...you MUST have one of his waffles topped with fresh fruit...OMG...the best!!
He is also a walking book of knowledge, any place you want to know to eat or do in Key West... Sammy's your guy. I can not express how wonderful he is!! So if you're looking to stay in Key West...this is your place! Will definitely be staying here on our next trip to Key West! Thank you Sammy and Katey for making our stay so special!
They have the best breakfast with Belgium waffles and fruit! It's close to everything.? The crew were great, especially our host with the most. Did not get his name. So charming and helpful. They have the coolest pool! It has a beautiful,relaxing ambiance.
We arrived a half hour before check-in and our room was ready so they allowed us access early. Room was lovely, staff were exceptional and the Belgian waffles on the continental breakfast were made fresh to order. Highly recommend this adorable little bed & breakfast. Walking distance to all the sites we wanted to visit. BEST in KEY WEST
