This inn is so quaint and comfortable. We had an amazing stay. The room was cute and private- we felt like we were the only guests. Loved the coffee and croissants- delicious. The location is the best - it is within walking distance of everything downtown. Would love to come back and stay again.
The Gables of Rhinebeck is amazing. This delightful inn has it all - character, comfort, charm, and convenience. Located within walking distance of the main street of the village of Rhinebeck, I highly recommend staying at The Gables. The owners John and Pam were so welcoming and accommodating and they made sure I had everything I needed. The coffee and pastries provided for breakfast were delicious. Accommodations were superb, and I highly recommend the “Blue Ridge” room with the wonderful spa tub! Thank you Pam and John, I can’t wait to return!
We recently enjoyed a stay at The Gables Inn, which impressed us with its elegant charm and well-appointed touches. Our room was a delightful surprise, offering comfort and cleanliness that went above and beyond our expectations; perfect setup for our family of 4. It was clear that the innkeepers pay close attention to detail and take great pride in maintaining their property. Our two kids (ages 2 and 5) were particularly fond of the delicious chocolate croissants. The location of The Gables Inn proved to be perfect for our family. Nestled in a picturesque area, it was just a short walk to some fantastic restaurants, Bread Alone was excellent! Additionally, the nearby playground was a wonderful bonus, providing a space for our kids to play and have a blast, which they certainly did. Overall, our experience at The Gables Inn was exceptional. It's a place that understands the needs of a family, as well as the desires of those looking for a touch of charm and relaxation. We would highly recommend this inn to anyone visiting the area and look forward to the possibility of returning in the future.
My fourth time staying at the Gables was just wonderful! I stayed in the Storm King Suite-the bed is super cozy and I slept incredibly well. Lovely to stay in this beautiful home, surrounded by well maintained and gorgeous gardens, just a block from Rhinebeck’s Main Street. The caretakers are friendly and thoughtful when you need them, but otherwise unobtrusive. A wonderful stay, yet again! Thank you!!!
This inn was first rate in every respect. Comfy bed, spacious, well appointed, clean, and quiet. The hosts were responsive and helpful. Delicious croissants and coffee in the morning. Will stay here anytime I’m in the area!
Absolutely loved this place. I typically go for a more modern spot yet the reviews and pictures were so compelling. Amazing location right in town. Quiet. So clean. Well kept. Everything you need from water jugs to big towels to wine glasses. Super comfortable bed and cozy sheets. Can’t wait to come back!

We stayed in the Storm King suite and it was perfect for 3 people! The inn itself was gorgeous and comfortable and our room was lovely. It was a very short walk to all of the shops and restaurants in Rhinebeck. I’d recommend this to anyone!
