I usually love coming into this breakfast place for a quick bite and some coffee (their coffee is THE BEST) but I crunched into a piece of plastic in my mushroom pita this afternoon (pictured below). I would have let the staff know if I was dining in, but since I took my order to-go I wasn’t able to inform them. I just wanted to leave this review so the business knows to keep an eye out in the kitchen so this doesn’t happen again. I’ll be back for coffee, but I don’t think I’ll be ordering food from here any time soon.
My favorite breakfast and lunch spot. Lots of options on their menu, always something new to try! Friendly staff and great cooks. Their menu isn’t over priced. The line might be out the door, but it moves fast and by the time you order a new seat will open up.
We started out at Snooze, which was too crowded and so raucous that we just up and left. We went by Annie’s, which was closed (it was Monday). So we came to the French Press, and voila! It was delightful. Quiet, spacious, comfortable, a menu bursting with creative options and friendly staff - cool young people but nice, with a common touch. The food was extraordinary. Obviously prepared with care, not hustled as quickly as possible according to some neo-industrial scheme. This is my new favorite breakfast place.
Visited on Friday at noon. Very loud atmosphere. It seems they work on upcharging: 75cents for substitute dressing and don’t mention the cost so you have a choice. Same upcharging with coffee, give you a large and don’t mention other size options. Charge 2% if you use credit card. Coffee is very good. I’ll probably just go in for coffee in the future.
Had the crab Benedict and it was delicious! Love that they make their own hot sauce too. Will definitely be returning to try more items!
Absolutely love this place, great staff, great food, great location. I had the chicken fried steak in a delicious gravy sauce and my husband had a cappuccino and french toast with eggs and Canadian bacon. Everything was awesome. We ate everything on our plates, it was sooooo good!
Just flew in from Texas and were extremely hungry. This place was amazing. Nice and small. Great food. Great atmosphere. Very friendly and helpful staff!
