The Fredonia Hotel & Convention Center - Restaurant in Nacogdoches - 200 N Fredonia St, USA

We love to stay at this charming hotel whenever we visit Nacogdoches. The rooms are comfortable, the pool area is so relaxing, especially with bar service in the late afternoon, & the restaurants/bar are great. The staff are always friendly & helpful. There is so much to do & see within walking distance. This recent visit, we were escaping Hurricane Beryl & were thrilled the hotel was available for several days while we waited for our power to return in Houston. It was a lovely, unexpected getaway & this place never disappoints. We can’t wait to return

This hotel is a delight. Super comfy beds in a boutique setting, with historical touches. I enjoyed the staff and bistro also. The rooms and bathroom in the tower are compact but well-appointed. Extra comfy beds with nice linens. Definitely will stay again!

The Fredonia did not disappoint. I stayed here in 2020 just as the pandemic was easing up. I was impressed then, so I thought I’d try it again. I was so pleased the hotel was still very clean. The amenities were nice. Our room this time was much smaller but well appointed. We ate the Cafe twice, both meals were excellent. The Cafe is kept really COLD so bring a blanket! |All staff members were very friendly!

This place may look good, but it hides a nasty reputation. Confederate flags are displayed and a complete lack of respect for anyone of color. Do not promote their Redneck Agenda. I thought we lived in 2024 not 1969. You could not me to stay there if you tried.

Amazing experience at the Fredonia Hotel & it's restaurants! The environment was immaculate here with its retro vibe and music. Very, very nicely updated/restored. Smells great, bed and pillows were super comfy. Most of all, the staff was incredibly accomodating and sweet. Especially in the First City Cafe. Service was exceptional and the food was delicious. Ate there for breakfast & lunch twice. Definitely get the Cowboy Burrito or the chicken fried steak. Bloody Mary was delish. Location of the hotel couldn't be better, smack in the middle of downtown. Only con I can think of is that the room was pretty tight on space but considering it was built in 1955, that's to be expected. Thanks for a great experience!!

The room was large and comfortable, but room lighting was sparse. Poor view of the parking lot via a small window.|The restaurant was pleasant and the food and service were good.|There was only one ancient elevator for the entire hotel (6 floors) which was inconvenient.

We stayed here last Thursday night on a date night package in the beautiful and luxurious Executive Suite. We had an amazing time. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. The bed was extremely comfortable. Loved the body wash so much We bought some in the gift shop to bring home. Dinner at the steak house was so good, I told my husband I thought I would choose it again as a last meal request,lol. Breakfast was wonderful in the Cafe as well. Love the nostalgic, magical feeling of the whole place. You feel as though you have stepped back in time to a simpler time. I think this is quickly going to become our go to place for special occasions. Our thanks for such a wonderful time and excellent service to the entire Fredonia Hotel and restaurants staff!

Just stayed at this racist hotel! So embarrassed because I had my daughter and grandsons! This hotel is flying a confederate flag! I was completely sick inside because my 14 yo grandson pointed it out! I asked if they could take it down and they refused and after that refused to serve me! The hotel is rubbish! Terrible customer service! Hard to believe this stuff still exists in our state/country!
