Wonderful boutique experience...loved the historic feel, the speak easy layout, the unique decor of each room (we stayed in Picasso), and amazing location right in the center of everything. We walked easily to Reading Terminal Market, and enjoyed the sights along the way. Actually stayed for PINK concert and loved the unexpected free breakfast the next morning. Nothing like real boiled eggs! And wow, amazing and friendly staff. Only regret is not staying another night because we didn't really get to explore as much as we wanted. Will be coming back for sure!

Our stay at The Franklin on Rittenhouse was awesome. The staff members were all incredibly friendly, welcoming and helpful. Our room was clean and very nicely decorated. The hotel itself was so charming. We loved the speakeasy bar connected to the hotel, which had a cool atmosphere and fantastic drinks. The continental breakfast was also a nice perk. Overall, we had a great experience here, and we’d recommend this hotel to anyone.

Thank you for such a lovely experience. My boyfriend booked the room so I was pleasantly surprised to see the style of the room. It’s cozy but modern. Not an electrical cord, tissue box, or iron was out of place. It was prepped to perfection. We also had lovely interactions with all staff members and other guests we encountered. Thank you to the cleaning staff and Douglas and Maya at the front desk that made us feel welcomed upon every entrance and exit. This was my first time visiting the Franklin but I am quite excited to return in the future. ||Thanks again! RC & DC

Lovely small boutique hotel in Rittenhouse Sq.|The decor and cleanliness, along with the unbeatable location, make for a perfect visit to Philadelphia. Check-in was easy, and the front desk worked hard to get us into our room as quickly as possible even though we arrived hours earlier than planned. The building itself is a well maintained old building with decor that I would describe as modern vintage. A light breakfast was included, which provides a good start to the day, yet there are many café options around if you want something more substantial. The staff are helpful and kind which is always an added bonus. |

Me and my girlfriend only spent one night, but we had a wonderful time. The staff were very kind, friendly and welcoming. ||The room was perfectly clean and super cozy. ||The hotel bar is far better than any big brand hotel bar out there. It was intimate, elegant and the cocktails were top notch.

Beyond the location, which is AMAZING with so much great food and things to do nearby, this boutique hotel leaves a lot to be desired for the price. They have no arrangement with parking across the street, so we had to park several blocks away, which still wasn’t bad. It was a beautiful evening for a walk, but ensure you pack correctly to be carrying your bags several blocks. There is no controlled air conditioner in the room except for a portable fan. It was hot in the room at points and there was nothing we could do. Ice is not available unless you ask at the desk and there is no refrigerator in the room. The walls were scuffed, the vent was rusty, the shower curtain was stained, the blinds were falling down. The hotels needs a refresh, I would expect this from a value hotel not a boutique. The lighting was dim but the window lighting was great. The person at the desk was fast asleep at one point and didn’t even realize we walked past them both in and back out (it was during the day). There were signs in the room about saving the planet, yet we were never informed that we needed to ask for housekeeping. Thankfully we were only there two nights, so when we asked about housekeeping, they said they were done for the day, but they could get us whatever we needed, so we did get fresh towels. It was a great weekend in the city, with great food, shopping, and entertainment, but the accommodation left a lot to be desired for the price. We had much higher expectations based on the previous reviews. For the same price we could stay in a 4/5-star hotel nearby.

This is such a cute boutique hotel! The staff is wonderful- the rooms are beautiful. Very quiet for having a speak easy downstairs. When you walk into the lobby, you wouldn’t know it was there, which makes this place even cooler. We will 100% stay again during our next trip to Philly.

From the first step in the door, we were warmly welcomed. We were delighted and thankful for our early check-in. The process of checking in is as smooth and enjoyable as the jazz music in the lobby. The service is attentive and responsive. The accomodations fit our needs and the location of this boutique hotel is central to many places. Thank you for a lovely stay.
