The Frank is a two story art gallery in the Pembroke Pines City Center. It opened on April 27, 2017 and it is named after Pembroke Pines mayor Frank C. Ortis in honor of his decades long commitment to the cultural arts. The center is open Tuesday through Saturday from 11 to 5. In addition to presenting free art exhibitions, the Frank offers lectures, art classes and workshops, field trips, and guided gallery tours.
I love any institution that celebrates the arts and even better, this one is free. The Frank can be rented for private events. The Frank offers so many events for both children and adults. A full list of all opportunities can be found on their website and you can also subscribe to their newsletter. This gallery is a great asset to the cultural arts. I support any institution that brings the arts to the community.
I went with a couple friends for the Oliver Jeffers exhibit of children's book illustrations. The space is small, but we really enjoyed the live music. The illustrations are very imaginative and appealed to our inner kids. We laughed a lot and left happy.
This gallery has very limited space for exhibits. It is part of a much larger Charles F. Dodge Civic Center. There is capacity for potentially more attractive exhibits as they do change during the year. This was a short visit as there was not much to see. This art gallery was free with adequate free parking. There an absolutely beautiful mural on the outer wall of the building. I am hoping to see a better exhibit in the future.
Currently a great exhibition... amazing oversized landscape photos with incredible details by world famous photographer. Free entry and free parking. We paid 20 USD for a smaller exhibit elsewhere. A must see. Also check out the Memorial Park across the street!!
One of the best kept secrets in Pembroke Pines. This is a beautiful gallery. It’s a nice place to visit, take an art class and enjoy fine art. Amazing staff and events held regularly.
Visit during the week and really enjoy the time. The programs are geared towards all ages... visit the opening receptions and enjoy the artist one on one. Best part it’s free. Sign up to get updates and keep up with all the arts...
An amazing experience in such a small place, a nice place to visit for a small fee very interesting had an amazing time I will definitely recommend and I will definitely revisit for another amazing time.
The art festa The Frank was a lot of fun. It was mostly jewelry and art pieces of different genres. The gallery inside The Frank was quite interesting. There were several food trucks there and I chose one that served a brisket sandwich which was very tasty. Today was a perfect day for the event.
Beautiful gallery and very fun exhibit. The only thing that gave me pause is that they charged my two year old the $5 admission charge. I mean, a two year old???

After years of being part of Palm Martial Arts Academy, I can proudly say this is the BEST gym. Between the dedication, professionalism, and devotion to all members thereâs truly no other gym Iâd rather have my kids be in.
