I have been searching for a great bakery, and finally I think I have found one. Foundry is the BEST! Their bakery products are outstanding with great taste and high quality. The tea is so fresh and the boba is perfect!
The owners are very nice, kind, and friendly.
Highly recommend this place if you love high quality and delicious bread and tea!
This small Asian-owned bakery captivates with its delightful fusion of flavors. The warm atmosphere and friendly, hardworking staff make it a charming spot for indulging in delectable desserts. It's a hidden gem that effortlessly balances authenticity and innovation.
Really love the bakery. Egg tart is so good. Milk tea is great with 75% sugar. Owners are welcoming and friendly. Really want to try every single one but some bakery are out . I don’t know why I’ve been living in St. Louis for 3 years but never been here before. Will definitely come more often.
I am updating this rating with a review (FINALLY), because the Foundry Bakery has a special place in my heart, and I finally got to take someone very dear to me there.
For context, I go to the Foundry Bakery probably once every 8-12 months. It is not often, because, well, there are closer bakeries/cafes to me and I am out of town at my university for about 8 months out of the year.
I say that to say that this place would justify the “out-of-the-way” trip. There are few bakeries that I ever visit solely to experience the attentiveness and warmth of the management, but this is one of them. Ray is the most fabulous owner of a cafe that I have met—he is proud of his business, compassionate, patient with customers who are not sure of what they want, and always prepared to share about the beautiful Taiwanese culture. But you need not look further than the delicious baked goods menu to embrace this country’s character ;)
I recently got to take my girlfriend here and show her why the Foundry Bakery is worth the drive for me—Ray came up to our table after we ordered and made sure we enjoyed our drinks before giving us recommendations on where to travel in Taiwan whenever we might go. And of course there are more things I could say about the expansive list of drink options (tea or coffee), the helpful menu that shows the personalization possible through drink add-ons, etc., but I would rather shed more light on this gem of an owner.
In summary, it left an impression on us when Ray told us he has not been able to go back to Taiwan since before the pandemic, so I figured updating my year-old, long-overdue review was one small pebble I could throw in the pond in hopes of getting people to go support this incredible small business. It is my deep desire that if business does well for him (and his awesome wife/co-owner Leah!), this wonderful cafe could take a hiatus for a week or two and give them a much needed return to their sweet country. Perhaps that’s wishful thinking, but either way you will n o t be disappointed. And even if I am wrong about that, I would argue there are few things you can be as confident supporting with your dollars as this bakery.
Thank you Ray and Leah!!! <3
The bread is so good we went back twice! I've never had such unique and well executed flavor combinations. You can pick any item at random here and it will be amazing. We tried the black walnut sourdough, chocolate cherry, and umami burst. A must visit for anyone in the St Louis area.
Great tasting pastries. Fresh made red bean fillings! Well worth buying a few when traveling back to California :)
Looking for a place to get some work done or just a bakery that has unique treats? The Foundry Bakery is the spot for you. Stock up on Taiwanese-centric breads, buns and pastries. Parking available in lot.
MY FAVS: Portuguese Egg Tarts, Bubble Tea, Red Bean Sweet Buns
Perfect egg tarts and boba milk tea. We came from Chicago, and the egg tart is much better than any other places that I visited in Chicago! It was extremely soft and fluffy just like a soufflé cake. We will definitely come back later!

Overall a really great place for the family to do activities together. The pool, while not enormous is adequate and very well maintained. There are two gyms with schedule available online, there are many pickle ball players using one of the gyms.
This is a cute neighborhood park located in Maryland Heights. I visited this park this afternoon, and surprisingly, it is pretty empty, with little to no traffic from the neighborhood. It could be because I'm early due to the gloomy weather or not a
