It was good, I was expecting worse reading the reviews. I was worried that they will charge something extra upon arrival, even the booking says the property will charge you zero. But they didn’t. Tiny kitchen, lack of space, but if you manage the space it’s comfortable. They provide kitchenware. Free breakfast (toasts, muesli, fruits, but no eggs). Parking is 20$. Location is great.
Check in 3pm check out 11am not a full 24hrs I payed for .
No parking if parking costs $18 per day ....
Not right!!!
Universal diet breakfast no boiled eggs but bread butter oatmeal milk free coffee snack prepurchase - cakes
Still;
Not worth the discounted price, surprises you with deposit charges $ or credit $100 after mobile payments confirmed and booked jeopardize non refundable reservations "looks suspicious" has roaches charges for ice gym has been closed entire building for a while but still advertising the gym as a selling point "it worked" wanted to get a good workout then flex on the beach. No convenient store charged 4x price for dollar tree & Walmart items.
No free ice at a hotel, almost made my next reservation cancel because of holds and unexpected charges. Couldn't get comfortable.
Nice bed and furnishings I would book again under clearer details of charges.
You have to bring everything, no shopping ice pop food towels.
Has pool but way far from door means discount on this room address.
Current situation is I’m staying at The Flamingo.||The BEST part is the location. It is near the beach, which is my happy place. The place is clean, considering the price.||The worst of it, and I do mean the worst…Is the lack of a working air conditioner. It is blowing warm air throughout the room, and not having an air conditioner in Miami is like not having heat in a MN winter. It’s so humid and hot that I’ve stayed outside, and not having an AC in a tropical climate is a health hazard. The plugin outlets are so old they can’t charge anything, and even though I had my iPhone charged overnight, the battery was only at 85 percent. The hotel reception staff had zero customer service skills, and terrible attitudes…But, at least the good-looking guy working there was friendly enough.||This could be a GREAT hotel, sans the AC issues, faulty plugins, and stanky staff.
Positive: Its only redeeming quality is it is close to the beach. Literally its ONLY redeeming quality. Negative: No hot water, dirty, no WiFi, old, run down, nasty staff who refuse to help, very little parking which makes you afraid to leave your parking spot once you FINALLY can find one. Definitely would NEVER recommend this dump. This is a 1 star at best. Negative: ""
Positive: The proximity to the beach. Negative: Extra charges not disclosed when booking charged upon arriving. The room was very poor quality and old. Several stains from leaks in the ceiling, scuffed doors and walls, not good air circulation and felt muggy, moldy in the bathroom. Not worth the price. Negative: ""
Wow, where do I begin? This hotel is absolute GARBAGE. DO NOT BE TRICKED BY PRICELINE, IT IS A 1* HOTEL. Old musty air conditioner pushing old musty air into your old DIRTY room. Floors haven't been mopped/cleaned ever? Door was filthy, Wifi didn't even wanna stay here, couldn't get it to connect no matter what maintenance guy did and they aren't *technically* obligated to provide wifi so you can get cable if you're lucky I guess. The service people are completely hardened to being screamed at all day long from customers duped into this trash motel so they don't care about you or your problems and will do NOTHING to help you. Oh, and don't think you're getting this gross room cheap, there's a hidden $40/night fee for parking in the scariest parking lot on A1A and an additional $100 hidden fee not mentioned on Priceline; parking available is NOT the same as parking included...a tricky word game to trap you here as once you've paid for this room, there are no refunds. I am so bummed I spent my vacation here. Do yourself a favor and pay for Courtyard or Wyndham or Marriot, not this crackhead hookup hotel. Horrible. A nightmare. Michael Myers wouldn't murder someone here.
Positive: The location was great... Negative: Roaches, roaches, roaches... The baseboards was dirty, the bathroom was not clean around the windows, and seals were dirty around the toilet, and shower..
The rooms are ok nothing to fancy but great and the location close to the beach it's good especially a good place to spend with the family..it's a bit better than miami not as wild will visit again
