I’ve been here twice. The first time I thought it was good but the fries needed salt and there was a lot of breading. This time I ordered onion rings in place of fries for my fish and chips and found onion skin in the ring!! As well as undercooked batter. Very disappointing don’t think I will be returning. I will accept other recommendations for fish and chips in the area.
When I first had the Fish Market back in 2018 I couldn’t stop going. It’s been a while since I’ve been here. It’s not as good as it used to be. We ordered 2 shrimp lunches. The batter on the shrimp wasn’t cooked long enough as it kept coming off the shrimp. The fries could have used more time also. I put the food in my air fryer when I got home. I was the only one there when I picked the food up, so it’s not like they’re busy to rush the food. Plus the boxes they put the food in makes the food soggy. Coleslaw and tartar sauce were good. The food wasn’t bad, but not nearly the quality it used to be.
A couple of years ago I would have given this place 4 stars. The food was great, fresh, and the service was friendly. However, recently the food hasn't even been Edible. A couple months ago I ordered fish and fries, only to get home(50 minutes drive), to open the box to a Hotdog and fries. I ordered a few weeks ago ( fish and fries again), yes checked the box this time, open to find this fish not even cooked thoroughly ( raw inside, wet and disgusting). A couple days ago I picked up and order of scallops ( overpriced $22+ for 6, soggy and very oily, disgusting), I ended up going to another place to pick up lunch. I love and I'm a firm believer in supporting small businesses, however the service here lately has been less than adequate and the food I wouldn't even feed to my dog.
Nice staff . Sean helped us in ordering and offered suggestions that was very helpful . Very happy we went . Glad people like Sean work there . Good food 😋
The freshest seafood in town! They will steam lobsters for you at the store. Delicious Lunch and dinner take out Tuesday through Saturday. GrubHub available.
Today was a disappointing visit. We had a party of 3 and ordered bellies at 32.00 per order. The bellies were small and maybe 6 were medium size. The fries were cold and this was very upsetting due to them opening at 10am and we arrived at 11:30am. For that time of day and the price my expectations were not meant.
Best fish and chips in town!!! First time buying and I’m hooked. Super friendly staff and the inside is beautifully ocean decorated. They rock!
Was not impressed with the food I got. It's about $26 for a scallop dinner. Scallops were overcooked. Ingot 9 tiny little scallops for a scallop dinner. The presentation was horrible. Honestly look like it wwas just thrown into the to go container. And received bay scallops instead of sea scallops which is a higher price. Extremely dissatisfied.
A great addition to what is an underrated food scene in Willimantic. Excellent wood fired pizza and a very creative drink menu. If you enjoy more upscale pizza with locally sourced ingredients than you have to give this place a shot.
Limberia Tropical Algarete is a total hidden gem! This is my new favorite spot in Willimantic. The owner puts so much detail into the presentation of the frappes, and they taste amazing! Whether youâre craving something sweet, or something refreshi
This longed- for facility has finally made its appearance and she is a beauty. I've enjoyed using the beautiful pool for lap swimming as well as some of the equipment available. The senior center has tons of things going on... You could live there a
Nice and quiet. Good food. I was satisfied for $20. I fed two people. It tasted pretty good too. There's a few options if you have picky eaters. Kind of like a buffet. Pick your rice. Pick your meat. I'll definitely come back.
We were advised to have dinner here! My friend is never wrong, and last night was no exception. We arrived, my wife, son and his girlfriend (the birthday girl)! We stayed, we ate some heavenly small plates. The figs were awesome, both types of
Seeking shelter between cloud bursts AND feeling a bit peckish, we stopped in at this lovely restaurant. The outside seating was moist, but inside we were nice and dry and well cared for. Service was swift and pleasant. Water was filled and refilled.
Wonderful people. Welcomed my son to climb on and explore all of the trains, as well as my little dog. They are doing a great job restoring everything. Had a good time, would return. I recommend following the driving directions on their website.
waterfall on one side of the bridge and calm waters on the other.. Metaphorically thinking it's kinda like life. On one hand it's loud, fast, undetermined and risky. And on the other side it's calm, peaceful, predictable and easy. Just as quickly as
