THE FISH & CHIP - Seafood restaurant in South Burlington - 1210 Williston Rd, USA

Not the greatest looking place from the outside nor the inside but the food was great. I would give it a 5 stars but the lack of atmosphere brings it to a 4. I had the cod and chips and I would highly recommend it. They have different specials for everyday of the week which is great and budget friendly. Prices weren’t the cheapest but reasonable for the quality.

Not the greatest looking establishment but let me tell you the food was excellent. Let me say if it wasn’t for wife I wouldn’t have eaten here by looks of the location I would’ve regretted that. The food came out quick and was excellent. I will be back this weekend again. Sometime you have to try places you usually wouldn’t try.

We are traveling in Burlington and staying at a nearby hotel, and while searching for spots for a moderately priced dinner, we found this gem. They specialize in fish&chips, like their name suggest, but also have other dishes on the menu. The place is unassuming, and the prices are below $15 for most plates. However, the food was really good! Their fried food was freshly fried, no weird taste on the oil or whatsoever, not over fried nor too little fried. The fish and chips ($11.95) were super delicious and looked great great (check pics) like handcut thick potatoes. The calamari (which was the special of the day, Saturday) for $7.95 came in a bit plate with very tender easy to chew calamari but crispy exterior and some cheese powder on top (I think). We also ordered mushy peas side ($3.95) and a cup of clam chowder ($3.95). It was the only meal we ate that day because we'd been having sweet maple, chocolates, and cookies and ice cream through the day. It was filling and comforting. Service was really nice. As others have mentioned, the woman at the counter is super nice, will check on you, and strives to get you a nice meal.

Came on Thanksgiving Friday. Was difficult to find a place open so we gave this one a try. So glad we did! The food was delicious and the service was great. Will definitely come back again the next time we are in town. Friday special was Cod & Chips for $11.95. You can't beat that at all. Also had the wings and they were huge and very tasty.

First time going to this place while visiting the Burlington area from London and let me say 10 STARS!!! Food was so authentic and real and that's coming from a londoner. Lady in the front was the sweetest and courteous person in Vermont serving up the best mushy peas and fish and chips I've eaten besides my mums ofc. Crispy and well battered fish, thick crunchy chips with fresh coleslaw making my mouth water thinking about it soooo yummy. I dream about this regularly actually every night.

Best fish and chips in Chittenden County. Souvlaki is excellent. Great fries (fresh cut) and Greek salad too. Always so nice when we place a pickup order. Food is just wonderful across the board. We go back regularly

First time I've been in the restaurant as we usually order delivery. But our last order delivered had been wrong and we were in the area, so we tried pick-up. I was surprised to see what a dive it was. The order was correct, but the quality of it rendered it inedible. Whatever oil they used to fry the fish in tasted bad and well-used, if you know what I mean. The only item decent was the cole slaw. I'm thinking the next time I want fish and chips, I'm going to one of the local bars for it. But never here again.

Great little place with delicious food. I'm here for work and wanted some shrimp so I searched on Google and this place popped up thought I'd give it a try. I'm glad I did because it's delicious. Bonus: the girl working the front is very friendly and very beautiful. Keep up the good work.
