Great breakfast and lunch restaurant. Staff is super friendly. Food is meticulously prepared gourmet takes on vaguely southern American cuisine. The pricing is remarkably affordable for the quality of ingredients and preparation. I had a special with blueberry French toast, eggs, and bacon. The French toast was covered with a mildly sweet blueberry compote. The subtle flavor and fresh fruit flavors were almost European in restraint from being the typical overly sweet fruit topping for breakfast foods. Lemonade has a green-yellow tinge and is totally forgettable. I went back for brunch one week later. I had some fantastic pancakes with excellent crispy bacon as sides. My main dish was the farmer’s omelette with green peppers, mushrooms, and onions. Everything is cooked to order and made from scratch. They even indulged my request to have my order fried up in bacon grease. It takes some time, but the end result is approaching cafe perfection.
Love it here ! Cute little spot on the backroads of Brooksville. We had a large party so we weren’t able to sit together at one table. They were able to sit us next to each other so it wasn’t a big deal! The service was quick food was great. 5 stars ! I ordered a sloppy joe, one of the “ off the menu” items which was written in chalk above the sit down bar area. Super delish, lacked spice for my liking so I just added some with hot sauce. While we waited, I loved the trivia cards they have at each table. Great way to pass the time while waiting for the food. Definitely will be back next time im out here !
I don't do this often, but I have to give this place a big NO. Not a good experience at all. 👎 Is one star the lowest I can go?
Prices are extremely high for what you get, and the choice is very limited.
Besides the high prices, expect to pay extra for sides, even the breakfast is upcharged for any meats you want, and if you want fries with the $8.95 medium sized burger, it'll cost you an extra $2.75. A glass of iced tea will set you back $2.25, and the soda drinks come out of a can and do not have free refills.
The scrambled eggs were like dried rubber, and the home fries were literally soaked in oil.
Just do yourself a favor and drive the extra mile or so into town where there are several other restaurants which serve well cooked, nice food, and give you value for money.
Delicious food.
Great caring service.
Excellent value.
The restaurant is located at the end of a small
shopping plaza. Inside you’ll find a very down home and inviting atmosphere. All the food is fresh and cooked to order. Would highly recommend to people in the Brooksville area. The photos do not do justice to how good the food is.
We went in for breakfast and came out. I'm lunch! The menu is full of all kinds of homemade yummy things so it was hard to pick!
I had to BLT with garlic aioli, husband had the homemade sloppy joe. Both were perfect!❤
My husband and I went with another couple. My husband said anything pumpkin is always a winner, the other gentleman thought his sandwich was small for the price, myself and the other lady we went had the avocado toast. I thought the avocado was very tasty, but i had the eggs scrambled, and they were dry. The other lady had her eggs over easy, and they were a little too easy.
Great country spot with friendly staff and fresh homemade food. Will definitely be back to try other items. Updated menu pictures with Biden era pricing
On our visit there was 5 of us for breakfast. This is a small restaurant, with a small menu. We observed 1 waitress, 2 cooks, and another person doing odds and ends.
There was a ice machine, but the waitress was getting ice out of a small cooler. The small amount of ice in our drinks melted immediately and we were left with warm drinks. As more customers were sat the server of course was busy. The 2 cooks did nothing to help her and just stood waiting for orders to come in.
The waitress delivered 4 out of 5 meals, stating that the biscuits and gravy would be out in a minute. However, the food was never delivered. As everyone else was done eating, we cancelled the biscuits and gravy. The food we did receive was just ok. I had a breakfast sandwich, the cheese was not even melted on it.
Paying the bill there was no apologies for not receiving our entire order. Nothing. We will definitely not return to this restaurant. Poor teamwork, poor management, and mediocre food at best.

My husband and I stopped in here after seeing their sign while at a traffic light. The menu was vast, our server was the best. My husband enjoyed his Cuban, and I loved the turkey with berries and provolone panini and yellow rice & beans. Of course I
Hot and delicious food! The service is awesome they only thing I would say is the little girl who waited on us needs to slow down when speaking. It was hard to understand her even after asking to repeat twice.
We had a large group from a memorial service. They sat us very quickly and got our orders right away. The food came out pretty quickly, considering the size of our group. The orders were exactly right. The good was really good. The best part was the
Enjoyed a wonderful lunch today. Food and coffee was delicious. Loved the cozy, Parisian atmosphere. Service was excellent. Highly recommend and will definitely be back to try the different crepes.
This place is absolutely amazing. I first got one of these at work and I am hooked. The price is comparable to Dunkin but that place is garbage. Support local businesses and come to Dough Iâd it is an experience you will not forget.
We stopped here on our road trip back home. The food was delicious and the owners were soooo nice! I had the pulled pork sandwich on Texas toast and it was very good. It had just the right amount of barbecue sauce. I normally donât like sauce on my
For years I have driving by this gem and never stopped to eat until a few weeks ago. Talk about great southern breakfast. And the staff are off the chain!
EXCELLENT coffee and service! The girls there were so nice and helpful and efficient and the coffee and food were VERY good! My husband and I both had the breakfast burritos and he had a caramel oat milk latte and I had a regular latte with brown sug
Was going to stop at the public walk (which I will do at another time), but then drove a little farther down the road and found that there's an old plantation with this area, Chinsegut Hill. Absolutely beautiful! You can walk around the huge yard and
