Walked over for lunch while attending the Convention Center (easy 10 min walk). Nice spacious layout and friendly servers. Food was adequately priced for the portion size received. We had the French Dip with cheese & Fries ($25) and Grilled Cheese & Tomato soup with Fries ($16) - everything was delicious. Will likely be back to try more items. Be aware: Noted on their menu was a 5% surcharge that automatically adds to your bill “to help support living wages or our staff” but you won’t see it on a printed bill as they come to your table and tell you what you owe and take your payment immediately on their handheld screen, which will then prompt for tip of 18-20-25%.
I've been coming here for at least 5 years now and just about every time it's been amazing. Took a long break from visiting during COVID but recently visited after a trip to Christmas in the park. The place was decorated beautifully in the spirit of Christmas. There was plenty of seating and for my party of two we got seated right away. We were quickly and frequently checked on which was a great show of hospitality. The food was fantastic as well. I made a special request for leaner pieces of brisket and Wow.... was I amazed. My wife got the grilled cheese and soup which was also amazing. Excellent portion sizes for the price. I hope the farmers Union is around for a long time so I can keep coming back!
Review Preview: I am an extremely picky person and probably the most picky person you’ll ever meet. So 4 or 5 out of 5 or anything 7.5 or higher out of 10 is really an achievement for that restaurant. In that case, here is my review, by Nicolas! I would give this restaurant a 6.5/10!!! I ordered the New York Steak, and asked for it to be as plain as possible. No vegetable toppings, no sauces,no chipotle spice, just meat medium-rare with some salt that is usually aprinkled on. They didn’t mess it up! That makes their service even better along eith the friendly and understanding and caring waitress! However, the steak was a 7/10, which is great for them! The lemonade was also an 9/10, but the metallic tap water was a 2/10. The restyarabt was loud at night, and was a little dim, so the inside would be s 5/10, but there was also outside seating that I can’t give a say about. Overall, this is a great place to go with friends and I’ll ad pictures of food that others ate.
Excellent food, nice ambiance, and a lot of beers on tap. Each of the dishes offered a unique flavor pairing that set them apart, such as the mushroom on the steak, the apples in the brussel sprouts with the pork shoulder, the smokey salsa on the brisket tacos, and the cheesey buttermilk biscuit with the brisket.
The Service is the best I have ever seen in any restaurant. It was as quick to get our entries as 2 min, and also to get our beverages. The dinner is well served with huge portions and all the food looks amazing and taste very good. I recommend it as a special place to celebrate or invite someone.
Great for big groups. We had a whole room to ourselves as it was a week day evening. Food was good. Service just about ok.
Downtown Saturday Date night. We ordered mac and cheese and grilled cheese w/ tomato soup. The entire meal was absolutely tasteless. No salt on the fries. The cheese in the mac and cheese had no taste, the noodles even mushy--if blended they could be baby food. The menu promised carmelized onions in the grilled cheese, but none were found. It's disappointing given the price of everything is inflated. We don't have super high standards. We just want properly cooked noodles, flavor, some salt for chrissakes. C'mon. Please, just basic quality control is all we ask for! Date nights are rare. How hard is it to make decent food? I guess I'm just super disappointed. Hopefully we'll get a better experience somewhere else next time we go out to spend $80+
Picked this place randomly, and boy am I glad I did. Probably the best dinner I've had in years. Maybe i just got lucky, but everything on my plate was delicious. Highly recommend the brisket. Also ordered a chocolate raspberry beer, which may be my new favorite beer. Sadly I haven't seen it anywhere else before. Service was speedy and attentive. Fastest food and drinks I've ever gotten in a restaurant - the drinks arrived within a minute of ordering, and the food came maybe 10 minutes later at most. Fine dining, with speeds that could rival fast food!

The area where this restaurant is located can be very busy, especially during Fri and weekends, so plan accordingly. There is a parking garage nearby which is very convenient. The night we went for dinner was quiet so we were able to get a table righ

Lovely place. Excellent choice for a fun night out. Love the vibe and the live orchestra. The drinks were excellent (we had a skinny margarita and a spicy margarita) and food wise, we only had nachos but were really good. Weâll be back :)
Dropped in to CrossFit Silicon Valley twice during the week I was in the area. Coaches and members were welcoming and engaged. I recommend giving this gym a try. I will be back the next time I am in the area.
This place is such a gem! The food is incredible, atmosphere is cozy and welcoming. The pepperoni flatbread with hot honey is really something else. And after a couple visits, honestly I could say the same about everything else we've tried. The owner
My son - 12yo junior hockey player, joined VSS 2 months ago with his team mateâs recommendation. The goal was to improve the strength and speed on the ice, and I already see his progress, that proves the efficiency and effectiveness of this program
