The Envoy Hotel, Autograph Collection - Featured Reviews (1491)
Just spent a fantastic three day stay at The Envoy in the Boston Seaport area. Booked a Jr Suite corner room and the view and the space could not be beat. Great touches like a contour leather chair with foot stool, premium bedding, unique shelving, bicycle tv stand and more. Floor to ceiling windows overlooking the river and harbor, as well as the city skyline which was stunning at night. Gorgeous bathroom and amenities. Friendly and efficient staff from front desk to housekeeping. Location convenient and fun with loads to do. Although I did not go, people line up to go to the rooftop bar. Loved the vibe throughout my stay.
My wife, 3 sons and their wives/GF's spent an AMAZING Memorial weekend at the Envoy in Boston. I travel a great deal for work and it is one of my all-time favorite hotels anywhere in the world. The service there is superb. Mary and Ali at the front desk greeted us with big smiles and were very helpful on location recommendations for hotel info and dining spots. There is a SPECTACULAR rooftop bar that I highly recommend hitting! Michael the bartender is superb and has insane memory for everyone's drink choices! Katie the manager has a great bar and restaurant staff. The General Manager, Joe Mellia, is very visible interacting with guest in the lobby, restaurant and bar. Our favorite place to stay with a super location too!
I recently stayed in the Beautiful Corner King room at the Envoy Hotel and was thoroughly impressed. The room offered stunning views of the water, which made the stay exceptionally enjoyable. The room was sparkly clean. The service throughout was notably friendly and accommodating. Although there was a slight delay with my room being ready upon arrival, the staff's solution of offering complimentary drinks at the rooftop bar was a thoughtful touch. Additionally, breakfast at the on-site restaurant was a highlight of the stay—delicious and well-prepared. Overall, it was a memorable experience with only a minor hiccup, thanks to the excellent service and amenities.
Beautiful hotel just steps from the harbor. The staff was lovely and accommodating when we needed to extend our stay. My only (very minor) complaint was that the "private" light didn't seem to have as good an impact as the old method of hanging something on the door. But after talking to the staff all was good.
Would absolutely stay here again.
No complaints really . Besides rooftop crazy busy. But was very cool place. Room was awesome with a. Good view. The appetizers was great. The breakfast was excellent 2 bars in building. Front desk was friendly location was convenient close to the pier. Commons. And train station
This is in the seaport of Boston. The area is BUSY with eateries, places to drink, other activities.||The hotel decor/furnishings were fine to eclectic. It is NOT a cheap place to stay.||The cons, parking across from the hotel is EXPENSIVE. $48 per day. The envoy does not validate and I don't know if you can come and go with that rate. It is ridiculous.||The hotel has a rooftop lounge which is one of the reasons I booked it. For some reason I interpreted the rooftop to be for hotel guests only. I was totally wrong. It is open to the public and it gets PACKED. I would think that a section of the rooftop would be reserved/exclusive for hotel guest. Nope. Instead you had to deal with a ton of people and 'reserved' areas of the rooftop, which is ridiculous. So you pretty much don't get anything for staying at this hotel in regards to the rooftop and can't really enjoy it.||Here was my biggest rant. The hotel is right on the main road, and the sound proofing is non-existent. You WILL hear EVERY car/truck/motorcyle that drives by ALL night long. It was ridiculous.
Great location for Seaport activities and very friendly staff. The room, however, felt crowded with a big desk, chair and a weird tv stand that was half a bicycle- total tripping hazard for whoever is on the wrong side of the bed! Shower was roomy but low pressure. Bed & pillows were comfortable, tho the bed was low to the ground. Overall, would recommend.
Our stay is for 6 days. On day 3, our room still wasn’t serviced. We were put in a king room after requesting a queen room. 3 adults in the room. We were strung along each day with false promises of a queen room. The service is absolutely horrible. Out of bottled water, noise is insane, private parties taking up both options to each, not many people speak very well, general manager wasn’t in although we were assured he would be in. This hotel sucks and for the price, you would expect everything to be impeccable!
General Manager Joe can respond to this review but hasn’t responded to our email. Shocking considering he stated he would like us to give them another chance. No thanks!
Lovely hotel right in the center of downtown Boston! I stayed in a suite on the second floor, there was only one other room near me. Hotel room was a great size, bedroom itself was huge! Staff was extremely friendly! They have an observation deck on
Best of the best in Boston. If you want to experience a hotel that doesn't miss a detail, book with confidence. Upon entering, greeted with a welcoming smile from all employees. Complimentary champagne was a nice touch as well. Room was perfect a
