I’m not from this area, but I THOROUGHLY enjoyed my stop at The Empress. The woman I worked with was very knowledgeable about herbs, crystals and jewelry. If I could give this place 10/5 stars, I would. Affordable and convenient, you won’t have any problems finding what your heart is calling for here.

This shop is so beautiful, inviting, and powerful! The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. The selection of crystals is incredible, and there are affordable options for everyone. Many pieces are unique and selected with so much care. They feature goods from local artisans as much as possible, and the intention really comes through with all of the items. I can’t even talk about all the things I love to buy from here. Books, jewelry, candles, herbs, and more. Even if you’re not looking to purchase anything, they provide community gathering opportunities monthly and the people who come are gems themselves. So much love for this place and the beautiful women who run it! 💓

This is THE BEST crystal shop I’ve ever been too. Not only do they have an array of items to pick from, they are also SUPER knowledgeable and kind. This place has a very welcoming vibe. I went 2 days in a row and thinking about going back soon!!! I love this place!!! 🧡💜🖤

Hands down the most personal review of a business I’ve done. I hope it helps one person out there who may not be sure where to turn. 9 years ago I began a spiritual journey much different than anything I had ever known, and two and a half years ago it shifted again after having an unexpected accident. Which surprisingly opened me up to an another world of energy I wasn’t sure how to navigate, and I didn’t know where to turn. I dug as deep as I could go on my own for about a year, but I didn’t have a group of peers or anyone who really knew anything about what I was experiencing or tools to help. So I felt helpless in many ways at that stage of my journey. I really wanted a place to go to in person to find more tools and information that could help me understand the journey I was on. I had ordered a few things online from places already, but I’m someone who needs to see and feel what I’m buying. So I finally googled “tarot cards near me” lol, because at this stage reading energy using tarot as a medium was all I had explored, and Elizabeths shop was the only one that popped up, The Empress. So I literally plugged in the address and started driving. Lol The first time I walked through the doors of the original location I was nervous because I had never been in a shop like it before, and I had no idea of what to expect. Like I said, I googled and just drove straight there. I was searching for something I couldn’t put my finger on, I only knew where my intuition was taking me. I was quiet as I looked around, taken aback. I had never seen so many crystals, and the energy felt peaceful, like home. It really was magical, and I could feel I was where I was supposed to be. I still remember my first purchase, a Selenite heart, Bumblebee Jasper heart, a Leopardskin Jasper tower, and what has grown to be one of my favorite decks-The Wild Unknown. Everyone showed me kindness, respect, warmth, and the freedom to explore my intuition and craft with no judgment from day one. I know for me, people have a tendency to judge the things they don’t understand, I’m sure everyone can relate to that in some way in life. But they never judged my curiosity, they encouraged it, and always seemed to guide me in the right direction wherever my spirit led me. They gave me a safe community when I didn’t have one, in a time I really needed one, and for that, I’m grateful. It allowed me to find the courage to keep exploring, keep learning, sharpen my intuition, and keep cultivating the magic within me and keep seeing the magic all around me. To step into my own power authentically. It was and has been healing, and I know now that was what I was searching for more than anything all along. It really has been a humbling, and beautiful journey, one I’m still on and will always be. But I know I wouldn’t have kept expanding it if it weren’t for The Empress being here. I have since been in other shops, but none like it. NB is lucky to have a metaphysical shop like this. It has a bit of everything you are probably searching for, and most certainly things you never knew you were. So if you’re someone who is nervous about learning more, or don’t know where to go, don’t be ok, they will welcome you. If you are someone who already explores their own personal craft then it’s definitely the place for you. Last, remember it is a business so be respectful of their time, and energy as you would any other establishment. They provide the resources that can help you on your path, but the answers, the magic, is within you. I've been shopping at The Empress for a little under a year now and I've always been greeted warmly and lovingly. The ladies working there are friendly and filled with knowledge that simply has me coming back for more and more!! Such great customer service!! You can tell the whole shop is filled with love and care and the energy is just so beautiful its easily become one of my all time favorite small shops!!!

This is a wonderful place to shop for reasonably priced crystals, books, jewelry, and more. Crystals and beaded bracelets are well marked (priced, ID). The shop interior is clean and items beautifully displayed. There is so much to see and learn (similar to visiting a museum or library). I learn so much from each visit (making the shop an important part of my spiritual growth, my journey). Staff are super friendly and knowledgeable, providing so much support. I appreciate that staff accurately ring up all of my items, including items from the 50% off shelf, never making mistakes. I signed up for notifications and received a one-time discount. They host regular events for this community. The Empress is my all-time favorite shop in New Braunfels, TX!!

This shop has never failed me when it comes to quality of Crystals, herbal teas, Tarot cards and the list goes on! Their staff is very helpful and knowledgeable in their many products. This is one of my favorite places to visit when I’m in New Braunfels! They have such a huge selection I could spend hours here! No judgement here as they treat everyone like family. I’ve been doing business here for about 3 years and I have no plans on stopping.

I love this place and I am so grateful for the wonderful ladies that run it. They probably have forgotten more than I will ever know and they are so very helpful and kind. I've been to several metaphysical shops and have enjoyed every one of them but hands down this is my favorite! Follow your spiritual journey and take a trip to The Empress. You won't regret it
