The Edward - Hotel in Buffalo - 1296 Delaware Ave, USA

The Edward was such a lovely experience. The place is immaculately clean and organized, and all the amenities are top-notch. The mattress in the bed is divine, and I'm a hard sell for mattresses! The hosts communicated quickly and over text, which was lovely. There was a storm the weekend that we were there and we were locked in the city, unable to leave. We were able to extend our stay at the hotel and didn't even need to change rooms. For the price you are paying per room, it's a steal. They could easily charge significantly more for the rooms. We will be back in the spring or fall, so we can try another room and explore the neighborhoods a little more. There are great food and shopping locations so close and we didn't get to take advantage of it all because of the storm.

This beautiful boutique hotel is in a great, safe location. The interior design is beautiful with a bit of whimsy. We stayed in the Alexander Room. The bed was very comfy, sheets were soft, and blankets warm. The pillows were just right. The smart tv and free popcorn made for cozy movie nights in bed. The other guests were polite and respectful. The hosts were gracious and excellent at communicating. I appreciated that they would clean your room upon request but didn’t interrupt us for housekeeping every day. The entire place was spotlessly clean. I loved their use of allergy friendly cleaning supplies. We would love to stay again!

A great boutique hotel in a beautiful old mansion. It was the most comfortable bed I have ever slept. I travel for work and have slept in many different hotels. The evening manager was a great help. Loved the cozy parlor with the fireplace. I would definitely stay here again.

Such a clean room, very comfortable bed and blankets. I stayed in the Chelsea and the bed was huge. The bathroom was also so gorgeous--shampoo, conditioner, body wash all included. The owner reached out after my first day and asked what cleaning service I'd like, very kind! I absolutely would recommend The Edward to anyone staying in Buffalo. 1 block away is Elmwood Village, a cute street of shops and tons of small neighborhoods that branch off to walk through, particularly during the holidays. Very safe area as well.

A very non-descript building from the outside but the inside is a gem. According to my count, there are 9 rooms. Each one is unique. We stayed in the Green Room. Spacious and comfortable with a gas insert in the fireplace for cozy winter evenings. The room and public spaces are very clean. Similar to an Airbnb we did not check in at a desk or ring for room service but the care taker was very attentive and personable via text. The Edward is a short drive to many restaurants and shops but not really walkable. We have enjoyed our weekend away here and will be back.

We had a great stay @ The Edward!! The location was perfect as we came to Buffalo for a college visit with my daughter. It was so convenient & we were given a passcode to enter the hotel & our gorgeous room easily. The hotel & our room was beautifully decorated. We instantly felt welcome & right at home. The bed was incredibly comfortable & we had a great nights sleep. Even though our stay was very short, it was definitely very sweet & we will look forward to staying @ the Edward again & never hesitate to recommend this diamond in the rough!

Our stay at the Edward Hotel was perfect. We chose the Kennedy Room, and it did NOT disappoint!! The Kennedy room is tastefully decorated. All around the hotel the decor is elegant with eclectic pops of flowers and colors. There are even gold accents in bathroom and bedroom. The entire hotel was spotless. Water and coffee is available in a charming solarium downstairs. Communication with the hotel manager was seamless. Erin was friendly and accommodating. Thank you!

Everything about this stay was perfect. From the price to the decor to the comfort to the location to the ease of check in to the bathroom. Reviews gave me an idea of what to expect and they met and exceeded expectations. Oh - the host was excellent, helpful and friendly. Easy to reach and even helped with a restaurant recommendation. I’d stay here again without hesitation
