The Edge - Winery in Fredericksburg - 3567 US-290, USA

We went on a quieter day but enjoyed the staff and view. We went out for the food trucks but they aren't open every day. That being said they have a condensed menu on those days and still enjoyed some avocado hummus and pizza:) We enjoyed a mixed tasting which was $29 but we got to keep our wine glasses. They don't serve their own wine but feature wines from all over. The interior is huge and can handle large parties. On a cooler day we may have enjoyed a game of bags or putting out in their yard.

The place is big and beautiful and you're greeted with complimentary wine. We got dropped off by shuttle, got sat quickly since it was still early and not very busy yet. We waited at the table for 10-15min before anyone even came to our table to wait on us or even looked in our direction so we left.

We went to experience the Edge Winery and loved the atmosphere, our wonderful hostess AMY! Girl you rock! She was lively helpful and just down right FUN! We enjoyed our visit.

Had such an incredible experience here on Easter Sunday. I was looking for a place that I could have a glass of wine and enjoy a good book. An opportunity to get out of the house rather than be alone on holiday. I was welcomed with open arms and had such a great time. The solo hostess was absolutely incredible, managing a rush while still providing individual service with a kind smile. I wish I got your name, but just know you were greatly appreciated! I know this probably was a very different experience than when the edge is busy, but I had such a wonderful time and can only hope that I can expect that level of service and hospitality next time I come back

Unfortunately, it’s not as good as its use to be. We came a few years ago and it was so nice. For this annual trip we came back and found our food to come in cardboard boxes and given plastic Dixie plates with ketchup packets. Food was ok, not nearly as good as it was. Service was non existent. We had to go find our check to leave. Table was dirty, then we were then asked if “we wanted it cleaned”. We have agreed they have gotten complacent with the drunk clientele and decided to not care anymore.

My wife and I are in Fredericksburg for our honeymoon and wanted to go wine tasting and we found The Edge. Luke helped us along the way and was Phenomenal. He told us incredible stories, brought us even better wine, and just made our experience one of a kind. If you are looking to go wine tasting, I couldn’t recommend anywhere better for an amazing atmosphere, with great people, and even better wine.

Went to The Edge Winery as my first birthday stop with my girlfriends last week. It was exactly what I wanted, gorgeous, quiet, great wine and great service. Mary was so great to our group and helped kick off my birthday weekend! Some of us did the sweet tasting and some did the dry, all of them were delicious and we each left with a bottle of our favorite to take home!

We were seated at a dirty table. Service was slow. Some of our party was served on to go containers and other on trays. Our server can to our table a total of two times. Food was average and not worth the price at all! There are many options available and will we will not be back. Felt like they cared more about the event for the night instead of the paying customer that was present. I will spending my money elsewhere.
