The food was terrific! Came here for lunch/brunch today and the food was fabulous - I went with the eggs benedict and the home fries are crisped to perfection, the english muffin toasted and buttered to everyone's delight, and the brioche french toast was light and airy with the freshest berries! The service was wonderful and the atmosphere incredibly cozy - the host was kind and welcoming and our server, Pete, was great! The coat check was a nice plus for a blustery day. Well definitely be coming back here!

3 of us had a great experience at East Pole. The Brunch food was delicious, mimosas on point and Monica, our server was outstanding!! I can't say enough about how much she added to our experience. Monica was attentive, very friendly and it was quite obvious that she cared about her customers. I hope that the next time we visit East Pole our experience is just as wonderful!!

Great brunch place! The avocado toast with the 6 minute eggs was delicious and so did the home fries that were incredibly crispy and tasty. The only thing that wasn't great was the french toast that didn't feel like it was marinated enough in batter before being fried. Great place nonetheless! Very recommended.

If this place were anywhere else in the city it would immediately go out of business. The prices are astronomical for food of average quality, the quality of the interior decor is equal to a chain restaurant though the lights are kept dim to hide that fact, and the hostess and kitchen policies (on substitutions) have a haughty attitude not matched by the quality of what they’re offering. Only because there are so few high quality restaurants nearby and the convenience of the location can they get away with this. You’d be better off going to a less “fancy” restaurant and getting food of the same quality, or better, without the pretension and insane prices.

Go for the civilized outside dining - improved from the average UES restaurant by being on a tree lined cross street vs. one of the busy avenues. Good cocktails and wine offering. Menu is well balanced between New American classics and healthier options.

I really enjoyed the pear and parsnip soup. I also had a glass of Pinot at the bar and the staff seems so genuinely helpful and grateful to have you dine with them. I would return with friends for a full dinner next time.

Been here before for brunch and I was not thrilled , however, I stopped by for drinks and light dinner and it was great. Love the outdoor and imdoor sitting. Great customer service & welcoming staff. Drinks were exceptionally excellent & our little bites and meals were great. Did not take many pics cause I wanted to enjoy the ambience. But nest time, I will.

Brunch was fabulous! The food was great and our table under the skylight in the back of the restaurant was beautiful. What's more, I don't often write reviews, but had to come on here and shout out the serving staff for brunch on Saturday 7/22. They absolutely went above and beyond for us. When I called to make a reservation for my family, I mentioned we'd be on an outing taking my cousin wedding dress shopping. They must've notated that in our reservation because the entire staff was congratulating the bride and even surprised her with a champagne toast. The food and service was great regardless, but can't thank the staff enough for making it so extra special for the bride! THANK YOU!! So kind.
