The location is good. The staff friendly. The room was large and nice. However, the room was uncomfortably warm. We asked if temp could be dropped but we didn’t notice a difference. At one point my husband propped our door open to let cool air in because the hallway was much cooler. It would be nice if the hotel had water or soda available to purchase as well.
This is a lovely gem of a place. The decor in the rooms and throughout the townhome is warm and calming. The sheets are so soft and comfortable- it’s hard to get out of bed! The staff treated us like gold and were incredibly kind to our dog. They also gave us great ideas for which restaurants and bars were best to visit. The rooftop area is beautiful too. Highly recommended!
we stayed in the factory which is a new boutique type hotel attached to the spa. we stayed in the disco themed room.||in summary if you’re going to spend a night or weekend in beacon this is a great choice.||great location on main St||staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. any reviewers who criticized service need to look in the mirror||the disco themed room was very well done and it was a fun spin on a regular: if there one criticism it’s that the way the room is designed is really fun (hanging chair, platform bed) but the added fun = sacrificed comfort. there’s no where to sit, the platform bed was comfortable but a tight squeeze in and out. so if you’re staying more than one night i’d pick a larger more well furnished room. ||there’s great outdoor spaces in the first floor to sit outside.|||i cannot comment on the spa itself as we didn’t use the facilities.||if you go hear a nice place with a good vibe to have a cocktail is called the vinyl room. we were a bit older than the crowd but it was fun.
My wife and I went to Beacon for a weekend away and stayed here. Couldn’t be happier! The room was fantastic. We loved the roof top sitting space and the hot tub was perfect on a saturday AM. Jessica and the rest of the staff were so helpful and willing to make our stay a great experience. Plenty to do within walking distance too. Highly recommend.
Loved Beacon and loved the location of this small boutique hotel. I stayed in the new annex and my room was outstanding. The decor was super stylish, bed incredibly comfortable and every aspect of it felt like a real treat. The staff were welcoming and helpful and I'd definitely recommend staying in the new annex.
What a lovely weekend at the Dutchess Inn & Spa. My husband and I checked in on a Friday and left on Sunday. |We were greeted by the wonderful Megan who graciously showed us around before our massages. Leading up to the trip, she also helped me via telephone strategize massage & hydrotherapy bookings. |Our massages with Ynez were very therapeutic and relaxing — the hydrotherapy was the perfect way to decompress. |We had the absolute of privilege of staying in the Bailee Suite, which was as clean, comfy and cool as they come. |Special shout out to Jessica & Lily at the front who are a delight. |The location is perfect! We were walking distance to everything. (Not to mention the solarium and rooftop with a view of the whole town).|Thanks to Bethany for curating an impeccable spot with tons of personality, unique touches and extreme comfort. We will be back!
Modern touch in a rustic area, great amenities, especially the whirlpool! Extremely welcoming staff. Owner went above and beyond. Situated in a strategic location, walking distance to cool places in Beacon. Highly recommend, will come back!
Great location, cute place, very nice staff. We stayed in a room in the adjacent factory and if you’re sensitive to noise, the walls and ceilings were quite thin and we could hear music late at night and footsteps. Bed and shower were nice but it felt overpriced.
Trax is an amazing quiet coffee shop where I personally love to get work done with a cup of hot coco and a bagel with cream cheese. Donât even get me started in their cute patio with picnic tables perfect for summer. And if you like funny gender ne
Extremely flavorful Tibetan food in a relaxed and warm environment! Has a full meat menu and an entirely separate menu for vegan options. This was some of the most tasty and satisfying food Iâve had since my local Ayurvedic restaurant closed down p
This is a dream of a cafe. For someone who is trying to not drink as much caffeine due to anxiety, having a matcha cafe here is amazing. I tried the hojicha thomas for $6 and it was 100% worth it. This is a drink youâll enjoy if you like earthy cre
Their coffee is great. Had coffee with my girlfriend. She also had a baked goods snack, but I didn't know which one. This was my first visit, but she is a loyal customer. Now I am a loyal customer, too!
This is a moderate difficulty trail. Great views from the top, worth the extra mile to go to the fire tower. Bring good shoes, and enough water, you'll probably be sweating on the way up.
