Everything here is awesome and I love the workers. They make the place what it is. I have never had a bad experience and once asked for a new thing that wasn't on the menu and they gladly obliged and even took the time to ask me how it was. They always seem to like their coworkers and work in symphony. It's quite nice to see as opposed to going somewhere else and hearing someone yelling at someone else for being on their phone. Also look at this cute Christmas design they made on my cup!!! I love this place. I come here almost every weekend and spend a couple of hours if I can.
The service was friendly and very fast. The environment was welcoming and comfortable. They have plenty of places to sit inside.
The parking lot has ample spots and is easy to get in and out of.
We ordered two coffees and a bakery item. They warmed my bakery item and brought it over. Items are not baked fresh in-house but it was still good. The coffee was a little weak for me but I did order it with 1/4 the sweetener than the recipe calls for.
Prices were reasonable.
A nice little spot to hang out while enjoying a coffee. I enjoyed the iced latte I ordered. The quality of the coffee was obvious, and it wasn’t too sweet. I’d recommend this place to anyone who hasn’t tried it.
I normally Drive about 25 minutes to get to The Drowsy poet, and while their menu is delicious, I was very disappointed because they filled the cup up with 90% ice and very little actual drink. This photo is after I took four sips total, and there was no drink left and you can see that the cup is absolutely filled with ice. Just a little disappointing because the drink cost $5, and if you tip a dollar on it which I did, then you're paying $6 for a cup of ice with four sips.
Our first visit- our Navy daughter’s suggestion. The people working the counter were very friendly and helpful with suggestions and recommendations. We got a Poetchino- mocha- a latte (plain) and a cocochino along with a banana nut muffin and a cinnamon roll. The drinks were all very good- the Poetchinos were delightfully NOT over sweet like so many frozen drinks are now- and you could actually taste the coffee. Wonderful! The latte was a perfect combination of espresso and foam. Muffin was good- liked the funky chopped nuts on top instead of big chunks like most. The cinnamon roll was gooey and delicious and had a nice frosting on top that was sweet but not overpowering.
Overall a very nice visit and we will be back often when we are in town.
The people there are so friendly. There are a few that go out of their way to remember you and what you love to drink. Super insightful when I was indecisive on whether it's not, I wanted lavender.... I didn't like it🙃it's mine and my husband's most favorite coffee shop!! It's an everyday kinda stop😁
This is by far the worst Drowsy Poet in town. They have horrible customer service and poor team communication.
I was greeted by someone who seems like they did not want to be there. She wasn’t very friendly.
2 people received their drink before I did even though I got there before them. The reason for that is they have poor team communication. Once they made my drink instead of giving it to me in the lobby, they let it sit in the drive thru window because someone probably thought it was a drive thru order.
My drink is not a hot and I waited there too long. I don’t recommend this place at all. Please try the other location or try Coffee Guy.
This place has went so far down hill. The small drive thru on airport has better employees. Navy Blvd always gets your order wrong and they don’t offer the BIG perk of first responders or accept VA cards for the discount. They actually said they only give discount to you now if you’re in uniform. There is way better coffee in Pensacola to pay full price for with cheerful employees. Place is a dump

Thereâs a lot of history!
This beautiful historical building was built with elements of English Gothic architecture, such as the Tudor arches on the ends, the stone work around the events front entrance, and the battlement at the parapet, and was cr
