The Dog Park - Dog park in Anderson - 415 N Fant St, USA

Hershey and I are Frequent visitors to the dog park in anderson, Love that the same dogs and people come on a daily basis and Hershey as developed pretty good friendships with his doggy pals as well as I have as well. I added some pictures to show the fun that is had as well.

Good place to let dogs socialize and run free. 5 or 6 ft tall fenced in. A bit muddy after a big rain. Please pick up after you dog. You can tell some folks dont follow the rules. Be a good patron and pick it up.

My friends and I love having regular meet-ups here. It's nothing fancy but they have the small dogs and large dogs split up so our small puppers can play safely in their own area. We attended "Bark in the Park" earlier this year and hope they will host more events in the future!! We had so much fun and met lots of new friends there!

I love this park and my dog always has a great time! But this last time I went (and I know there’s nothing that can be done about it) towards the end of our visit here a lady brought her dog and right off the bat her dog was super aggressive and barking/snarling her teeth. She took her dog to the small dog side even though it was a larger dog (there was no one on the small dog side) and her dog kept trying to jump the fence and was charging the fence to get to my dog. I grabbed my dog pretty quick and put her leash on and we left. But it really baffles me (and the other person who was on the side with me) that people will bring their aggressive dogs to a dog park where there obviously will be other dogs. So I guess in the future please be considerate and if your dogs don’t get along with others then don’t bring them because I would’ve stayed much longer had she not shown up.

Beautiful dog park, very natural and large. We went during the week 3 times, varied times, no other dogs for them to play / socialize with. 1 star deduction for not being able to experience the atmosphere with other dogs / dog parents.

We absolutely love this dog park, and so does our puppy Marco! It is always clean and the people who go there are friendly! The only thing I can say is to keep an eye out, I believe kids may go in there some nights to drink, so there is occasionally broken glass bottles around.

Maybeline loved her first visit to the park, we will be going back!

I have a large dog. The large dog section does not have grass. It's all dirt but my pup loves it. He runs around with my children or other dogs rolls around in the dirt and has a great time. Just know that you would want to go on a dry day so as not to get muddy. The small dog section has mostly grass. There is a small water fountain for the pups. The only thing that I wish was truly different would be to add a bench in the shade because the only bench there is directly in the Sun.
