Unbelievable stay at The Dockside Inn!!! This place is THE BEST!!!! It was our first trip to the island. We stayed here for 2 nights and 2 nights in Edgartown and this was the superior portion of our trip. The Inn is located within walking distance of the Seastreak and Hyline ferries. It’s also directly across the street from numerous establishments (the sandbar, Nancy’s, Lobsterview, the Black Dog). The Inn also had a full room of beach equipment (chairs, umbrellas, coolers, towels, toys, etc) all for free just take what you want and bring it back later to the beach which was walkable about a block away. There was also breakfast and snack items for free. The room was small but very well air conditioned and quiet despite the foot traffic. There is also a balcony that was great to have some quiet time looking at the ocean while having a coffee or a cocktail. We will absolutely stay here again in the future and can’t wait to go back. Thank you Dockside Inn for everything!!
We have stayed at many places in our vast travel and we have never agreed on a perfect hotel. Until now. This place has it all, a perfect 10! Perfect location, steps off the boat dock. Perfect amenities like beach chairs, umbrellas, coolers and ice for day trips to the beach. Perfect solarium with ice cream, candy, coffee, tea, snacks and even pop corn to pop in the microwave. Outdoor shower, games on back lawn, jacuzzi, porch seating outside rooms, the list goes on. We were greeted by Garrett who couldn't have been nicer and our room was ready 2 hours early to boot. Again, a perfect 10!
Fantastic experience with this place. The staff was super friendly and attentive - their presence added even more warmth to the storybook charm of the hotel and the hotel's incredible central location. The rooms are cute and clean, and offer a view (from most rooms, I imagine), and they have small complementary snack bar for guests that offers reason enough to stop back off at the hotel in-between activities. Mere moments' walk from the beach, the docks, the shops, the jetty - It really doesn't get much better than this on the island. Can't wait to come back.
I don't know where to begin, everything about this place was absolutely amazing, from checking in to check out. The staff is friendly and attentive, they even put cookies out in the afternoon for the guests. The rooms are neat and clean with plenty of updates. The amenities you get while staying at this hotel are just awesome, there is a solarium with plenty of free food, snacks, microwave popcorn, coffee and more, Just outside there is a storage area with free beach items including towels, chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards and so much more too. The outdoor Courtyard has tables chairs as well as a hot tub. Also, the beach is just a few steps up the street. Everything is close by including restaurants and transportation, and a Martha's Vineyard tour that leaves right from the steps of the hotel. You won't be disappointed staying at this location.
Location was close to the ferry, main street and the adoreable cottages. It's an older place but updated. Our family room bathroom was so huge. The pull out bed was difficult to get out but comfortable. The view was stupendous. The reception helped with luggage as no elevator. The snack room had good stuff.
Staying at the Dockside Inn was a pleasure. The rooms were comfy, the staff were so helpful answering questions, and we loved the “extras” like the outdoor shower and beach gear. The location was in a prime spot, right next to the ferry, restaurants, shops, bars, beach.. made it easy to get around and do a lot of activities during our short stay. What topped off our trip, was that when we had checked out already, we got a call that we had left some clothes behind. I was able to run back to the hotel before our ferry left which was very appreciated. We can’t wait to visit again!
We had a great two night's stay here. Location is perfect. Short walk from the ferries and short walk to many great shops and restaurants. Comfortable beds and updated bathrooms and room was surprisingly quiet given the location. Staff here is also terrific. Mataya and Kevin were very courteous and pleasant at check in, and Kevin had some great suggestions for us. I highly recommend Dockside Inn!
A delightful inn located centrally and conveniently in Oak Bluffs, mere blocks from the ferry terminals, the main bus stop, and the main shopping district. Clean, well-maintained, spacious and comfortable room. Engaging and helpful staff, knowledgeable and willing to help in any way possible. The common areas, outside courtyard and refreshments room were attractive and offered nice amenities. Would stay there again any time we return to Martha’s Vineyard.

We had a wonderful 2 night stay for a wedding in the area. The check in process was easy, David was very friendly! Made it feel like staying with a friend. Our room was very clean and updated nicely. The bathroom is a little small but certainly ample
My sister-in-law and I came to Marthaâs Vineyard for the first time. It did not disappoint! The staff throughout the Pequot Hotel were pleasant and always went out of their way way to make things perfect. We stayed in room 12 that had two twin beds
New fresh takes on MV gear that are timeless yet on trend. Quality material that holds up after several washes. Picture below with Roger the owner. Kind sweet man. Highly recommend.
We made a reservation weeks in advance to make sure we got in, and I'm so glad we did. Everyone that worked there was so friendly, and the decor is so cute. While all the food and drinks were delicious, the vegan crab cakes were absolutely incredible
Who knew a bowling alley could have such great food? We were skeptical when we were told how good the food is at Barn Bowl & Bistro, but having been there about a dozen times now, we're convinced. They serve up great dishes with consistency and at a
What a treat to experience the oldest platform carousel ride in America! Give little ones a heads up that the horses are stationary - unlike todayâs amusement park horses. Plus, donât miss out on the ring game. Try to win a free ride by grabbing

I don't like to use superlatives really... And I'd absolutely consider myself a foodie. But I can unequivocally say: this was one of the top 5 meals I've had in my entire life. Holy moly. I was almost in tears when I had the first bites. We ordered
Biscuits is so damn solid. Everything on the menu is amazing, especially if it comes with the gravy. Attentive and responsive team, even when they get busy. I think the food is well worth the wait! Note: they donât have a restroom, so hit up the St
