This place was great. The front desk staff was extremely nice! The hotel is absolutely beautiful! The rooms were pretty big and quiet. Everything was very clean. I had a service dog with me and they were very accommodating for her. There is a park about 30 feet from the hotel for her to potty in which was really convenient! We will definitely stay here again.
This hotel is in a great location - many places to dine within the hotel and nearby. I needed some print work and was happy to realize that FedEx was just a block away! Front desk at The Delphi is very welcoming and the Valet parking is around the corner from the address (still part of the hotel property). Parking when staying overnight is not easy and obvious when you’re visiting Downtown Los Angeles.
I was surprised at the value since hotels nearby are more costly. Although the hotel appears older, it’s a nice retro feel with a Calder Mobile in the lobby!
Beautiful hotel with views of the downtown area. The lobby is beautifully decorated and adorned with draping greenery. When you enter the smell is very inviting. The room we have is small but quaint. It is the single queen room. I believe it is meant for a single traveler or a close couple. The shower is glass and exposes you to the room. That would be the only hesitation in booking this particular room again. Overall I love the ambience and location.
This place was good enough for our New Year's trip to LA. Be warned ahead of time though that if you get a single-bed room, the showers are completely exposed to the rest of the room. For me and my husband, this wasn't an issue. The rooms aren't brand new but they're good enough for us. There is no free coffee or tea, but there is a fridge and the bathrobes are heavy and nice. The downstairs restaurant was also super yummy! There's a little cafe in the lobby too. All in all we had a solid time here.
I enjoyed my stay here. The suite was larger than I expected and it came with breakfast included. The diner has a very cool vibe, friendly staff and fun menu. The whiskey and gingerbread combo was so lovely. The location isn’t the most desirable but it’s close to a bunch of museums, galleries and event venues. Recommend!
This gives a 4 star hotel a very different definition. Our room had the shower in the middle of the room, so anytime we took a shower it was humid and the windows were foggy. The heating (it’s cold in January!) took 2 hours to come on. We tried to call the front desk 4 times and our call got declined every time. Ended up having to go downstairs only to see the front desk worker sitting with headphones on watching something his phone clearly rejecting the phone calls. We were also woken up with weird radiator noises at 3am. There’s a platform around the bed that is impossible to avoid running into. We also requested turn down service when we left the hotel at 10am and arrived back at 11pm to no service being completed. Parking is expensive with the valet, it’s much better to park in the lot next door. We decided to check out early and went to an actual hotel.
I stayed at The Delphi for three nights while visiting DTLA for a conference for work. I'm a government employee and they were the only hotel in the area that was able to honor the government per diem rate. Overall, I was pleasantly surprised with the hotel. The lobby, restaurant and bar areas have all been renovated recently and they're working on additional renovations to the facilities. Unfortunately, the rooftop pool was not yet complete at the time of my visit. The room itself was quite spacious, much bigger than what you usually get in a city center hotel, and I found staff to be friendly and helpful. It's in a decent location with lots of good food options around. It was a bit far from the convention center where my conference was held, but I can't fault the hotel for that. I had a great stay overall though, and I'm usually pretty selective when it comes to hotels.
The hotel itself is in a very central area close to attractions in downtown LA.
The service is overall great with employees very attentive.
The lobby had nice Christmas decorations as well as non Christmas regular decor.
The one knock on the hotel is that the rooms and hotel itself seem outdated (60s style red carpeted hallways and simple pendant ball lamps), but they are clean and large rooms with modern restrooms and spacious walk in showers (which is a plus in a big dense part of LA). If anyone is familiar with NYC, most midrange hotels have very small rooms/restrooms, while LA, even with the old style has more spacious rooms. It may be easy to confuse outdated with purposefully retro. The gym had old timey photo murals from the 70s (with modern clean equipment) which is what the hotel aesthetic pretty much is, just brighter colors and simple.
It was more than adequate for me, but some people may want to look at more modern hotels for similar prices. The restaurant has VERY good food (think classic breakfasts, pot pie, fish and chips, burgers, etc, but premium organic ingredients local and imported, made from scratch dishes, and presentation) with good prices.

Valentina and Helen are absolutely wonderful trainers. They always go out of their way to help everybody out: always giving adjustments to improve posture and performance. I always book a session when one of them is there. They also play great music.
My time at this gym has been nothing short of exceptional! I recently hit my 1 year anniversary and am proud to be a member of CrossFit Echo Park. At first I was hesitant about joining CrossFit in general due to thinking it was just a bunch of rugged
