Historic building. "Old school" mansion feel to the rooms. Cozy and well-stocked bar. Weak hot water delivery. Under new owner (not that the previous owner was in any way bad). Stay here if you are looking for something beyond the "no-tell motel" or franchised hotel experience. You will always remember your stay at this place.
The bar is amazing. They need to update their hot water system. When you wake up, turn the hot water on and go for a jog around the block. It might be hot when you get back. 😊
So fun! Our new-found go to place. Love the indoor/outdoor dining and the European style bar is breathtaking. We are regulars.
Great location right by downtown DeLand. The hotel has a great restaurant inside with fantastic food as well. Overall a very enjoyable place to stay with great staff and service.
Recently stayed for the weekend and was blown away by how nice everyone was. We absolutely enjoyed the atmosphere and the charm of the hotel. You could literally spend the weekend just enjoying your time and relaxing. Truly getting away from “it all”. Ross, the owner, is the first person we met when we arrived and he could not have been more charming. He even let me take a picture with the Old Fitzgerald bourbon bottle they have on the premises. His suggestion of taking it behind the bar made it even cooler.
The pub they have is amazing. The bartenders creative and professional (and fun!). We spent a few hours enjoying a few drinks and conversations. The restaurant is also amazing. Ian, the restaurant owner, is a very pleasant person and we enjoyed talking to him and his lovely wife. The menu is amazing and the prices incredibly reasonable (the portions were huge).
Very close to the main strip. We walked and it took just a few minutes. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We would definitely stay again when we visit Deland.
Thank you all!
What a lovely boutique hotel. I checked in late, got my key from the bartender, got to my room. Interesting layout, OLD hotel but very well maintained and clean. Amazing, comfortable bed (I overslept!) Great service, great bed, would definitely recommend.
Frankly speaking, this place is a dump. Paint peeling on the walls, dirty carpets and furniture. We booked a full suite and the furniture was filthy. All the chairs and sofas were terribly stained. The claw foot tub was stained and rusted. We could only sit on the furniture after covering the cushions with towels. We could not get the TV to work and there is no one at the front desk in the evening. Finally tracked down the owner who was drinking in the bar. No hot water, he said let it run. Ran the water for 20 minutes, NO hot water! We left, did not stay the night. I give it 2 stars (rather than 1) because the bar is nice and the owner did not argue about giving us a full refund for the stay. Found a very nice Courtyard Marriott a few miles away.
We stayed about two weeks ago. The room was comfortable and clean. Some reviewers mentioned hot water issues, but we didn't experience any. We also had no noise issues from the bar/restaurant on the first floor. My only critique would be the room was very plain; some art would have been nice. We would definitely stay again in the future.

Comfortable place for the money on a high occupancy Daytona Turkey Run weekend. The queen beds were nice and clean. The couch with a fold out futon was great for additional sleeping guests. Continental breakfast was hot and included excellent choices
So much fun for for a 10th birthday party! When you book a party, you get the whole space to yourself for 2 hours. Communication was excellent leading up to the party and the awesome owner Kelsey was on-site to assist. The common area is really coo
Wow. This place is pretty cool. I took my kids here last night and we had so much fun, they didnt want to leave. We met the owners Tony and Angel they are really cool and played some games with my kids. They do sell a few drinks and snacks. We loved
This is where I eat when in DeLand. Ribs, pork chops, meatloaf are all excellent. Prices are reasonable especially considering the portions. People there are friendly and welcoming. Do yourself a favor and eat here. You will not regret it.
I fell in love with frozen custard almost 10 years ago and I get SO excited when I find a custard (instead of an ice cream) shop! Iâve gone to whits more times than Iâd like to admit over the last year since I moved back to the area and I always
I have lived in this area over thirty years, but I didn't know this huge, well maintained, beautiful dog park existed. Our dogs had a great time and the puppy even played in the pond. There are plenty of shady areas, but you should bring chairs for
Best place to watch stetson play ball. Clean concessions and even cleaner bathrooms. Seats are far enough apart to have enough space for taller people.
Santorini is a GEM. The service, food, and atmosphere are wonderful. After strolling around downtown Deland, and visiting the great shops, we enjoyed a delightful meal.
We ordered their whole fish special, and it was delicate and light. The roaste
Wow, I'm never disappointed when I come to Dudley's. My hubs and I came today and received excellent service from a lovely lady named Alana, and we met the owner so we could tell her how amazing her food is, especially her Hummingbird Cake. I had, h
Loved this park! We went for a walk with our Dog Baxter and itâs a great place to walk, run cycle. Very accessible paths which is helpful if you have a stroller. We will definitely come back.
We took the guided tour and I highly recommend it. Our guide was such a delight. She truly loved the place and gave us so much detail on the planning and history of both the house and the Stetson family. Plus her descriptive narrative was riddled wit
