Nearly 100 year old iconic American roller coaster that is as thrilling as any modern ride today. Definitely has that classic wooden coaster feel, so expect a bumpy ride. Lots of hang time at every drop. The carts look cool and old school, and are adequate comfort. This is an old ride! Enjoy the experience and time machine back to 1927.
My granddaughter loved it! It costs 10.00 to ride . It's Pumpkin Season so lots of photo opportunities as well.
Wow. Now it's been about 30 years since I've been there. In my teens I'd come see my cousins almost every weekend. We would go to the beach and hang out all day. And then we would go to Coney Island it was literally across the street from where they lived. So I decided to do a bike ride from the World Trade Center to Coney Island. What a ride it was. It took a minute. It was worth it to have lots of different communities to ride through. Beautiful culture all around. When I finally arrived, I took a stroll on the boardwalk then down to Coney Island. It was great. It brought back lots of memories. I didn't get on anything. Just took photos and checked out the arcade. Did a tour through Luna Park. One of the highlights was the cyclone of course and even though I didn't get on I will next time I go. They have a few roller coasters I'd love to ride. When I go back I'ma get on all of them. 2nd or 3rd week of August I will be returning and this time I'll be getting on all of the roller coasters.
I met these really cool teenagers by the cyclone, they were REALLY nice!! And they are in a choir to, so that’s cool! They let me take a photo of them. Have a VERY good life Ocean, Mischa, Noel, Ricky, Constance, and Penny!!!!
Almost 100 years old and still rolling! Not the fastest roller coaster but surely one of the coolest and certainly a piece of Coney Island history. How cool that my father rode it 12 times in a row back in 1937 and now I get to ride it years later!
It is fun and thrilling. Open this winter at Luna Park for Frost Fest.
Fun ride! Alot smoother then I expected, alot of twist and turns! Worth the price of the ticket!
Definitely worth a visit, at least for the photo! It was a discovery for me that the old slides are made of boards and metal!

I must say up front: besides my own impressions after enjoying this place myself, I also know the owner very well. Although, this fact only helps this review, giving a full picture. The reason behind it is that I know what the owner's values are. Amo
