The Curry - Indian restaurant in Bremerton - 221 Washington Ave, USA

I just discovered The Curry while staying at a hotel in Bremerton. I wish I found it sooner. It’s a true gem with authentic Indian food and the smells fantastic as soon as you walk in. The naan bread is cooked in a traditional clay oven and the tikki masala was delicious. I can’t wait to go back there again tonight. I def dropped a pin on this place. I would have given it 5 stars but the fried appetizer onion ball thingy was over cooked and just all breading, hardly any onion in it, skip that. But the main dishes are totally worthy.

Incredible food - one of the best places for well crafted authentic Indian cuisine in Kitsap county and certainly worth visiting! Family owned and local. Great spot for takeout as well. While you wait for your takeout order you can sit at the bar with a great selection of beverages.

Food was good. It a little pricey for the amount of food we got. I miss their AYCE buffet at lunch. Please bring it bacon

To start, there is no parking. Only paid parking. You have to drive around to find free street parking. The service was amazing, as is the ambiance of this restaurant. Unfortunately, the food falls flat. We ordered 2 star Aloo Matar, and it was bland. All we could taste was pepper. The Garlic Naan was also bland. You can see the garlic. But all you could taste was the bread. The butter chicken was ok.

I could smell it all the way down by the water. The restaurant is beautiful, the staff were kind and quick, and the chicken saag was life affirming. Aromatic, tender...just beautiful.

This was our first time trying this place. We ordered it to go and had it delivered by Uber Eats. We were missing a dish, but I was able to get refunded by Uber Eats. Compared to other Indian restaurants this place gives a generous amount of meat in their dishes and are priced inline with other Indian restaurants. Here you don't pay $20+ and only get five pieces of meat in your curry dish. I also appreciated that their curry dishes come with rice. With most other places you have to order this separately. With all of this I still have to only give a 2 star because the food was very bland and lacked flavor. We ordered 4 different curry dishes and their mixed grill. All dishes were lacking flavor and the mixed grill had some burnt chicken and again just lacking flavor. Indian food should kick you in the mouth with flavor and you just don't get that with this place. I also noticed that the curry dishes were very runny instead of thick and creamy like I have seen at other places. This was really disappointing since what we saw initially was really positive. If the flavor improved I would love to try this place again.

Very friendly dining experience. My wife and I come here a couple times a month. The food has so much flavor and spice! A true authentic Curry dining experience. My favorite is the lamb Korma with garlic Naan. The mango Lassi is also a favorite drink of ours.
