Excellent food! Cool vibe! Wonderful service! My husband and I visited The Cub in 2018 and had a great experience. We returned for a meal tonight and it was even better than we remembered! I chose the filet and it was awesome - great flavor, super tender, perfectly cooked. My husband chose the ribeye and was just as happy with his meal. The new owner, Cole, is a natural host and entertainer, and the chef is incredible!
This was a totally disappointing experience, especially after hearing so much about it. Food service very slow, and the appetizers we had were not good. Ahi Tuna over cooked and greasy, and the fried crab was drenched in oil. When asked by the waiter how the Ahi Tuna was, we told him it was overcooked, his comment sorry I will pass on the information but there's nothing I can do about it. Really you evidentially don't care about your customer or customer service. Would never recommend this place to anyone, not sure what the hype is about this place, but its overpriced, terrible food, poor customer service.
Never knew this place had a restaurant the food was so good and cole definitely made our first experience there amazing
2 Horrible steaks at $40 ea. were immediately with equally bad asparagus and mushrooms. Our group of 6 were the only ones from 5-7:30pm. Burgers were good & Shrimp Scampi was just ok. There must be a reason it’s not very busy there. Anyone can make a burger.
Really enjoyed dinner at The Cub. The Cub is a Shreveport institution that was founded in 1939. Cole, the new owner, is a Shreveport native. If you've been around awhile, you might remember his dad, the owner of Humphries. Either way, stop by and a have a hand cut steak for dinner. It is worth the visit.
Came here for my Aunt and Uncle’s 50th wedding and it was amazing! Cole was awesome and made sure we had a great experience! The food was on point as always! Thank you Cole making sure our evening was special!

Brunch at Windrush is a real treat. You have to try their chicken and waffles! The mimosas are good as well. The bar has been expanded with multiple TVs showing sports or Chive TV. The atmosphere is great for a nice meal out.

First time having the Red fish formthe Cub dinner tonight, I was fantastic, nice crispy outside juicy and great flake. Pan seared to perfection along with the asparagus and veggies.

Love this smallish yet very unique museum. The dioramas were astounding... absolutely mind-boggling the number of hours that went into creating them... and the talent! Other great world of art and a really interesting documentary in the auditorium.
What a charming place this is! My daughter and I arrived on a freezing cold night on a trip from Atlanta to Austin. When we woke up there was snow and ice everywhere. John made us a fabulous breakfast and all the coffee we could want. We knew if we n
