The Crack Shack - Murray - Chicken restaurant in Murray - 6161 State St, USA

My friends have told me to try out this place so I was excited to eat here. However, their burgers were very salty for me. They put an overwhelming amount of salt and I almost forgot that the one I ordered - Firebird - was supposed to be spicy. Their tender loins are alright, but the seasoning was unsatisfactory. Maybe I had too much high expectation, but if you do not like salty food, I would not recommend this place.

The workers were super helpful and the cashier even told a joke while we waited. We ordered the Firebird and it was 🔥–it was stacked with extra onions and had a super thick chicken breast, delicious! The chocolate shake was also amazing. The house BBQ is great and the atmosphere is very open and welcoming–I'd really love to see this place become more popular as people experience it. I do think the prices could come down just a bit for both the sandwiches and the shakes but understand that they're aiming for a "gourmet chicken sandwich" experience compared to Chick-Fil-A, etc.

First time trying The Crack Shack, and I had an amazing experience! Food: 10/10 everything was so fresh and hot when it got to my table. I opted for the fried chicken tender/fries combo, and WOW, the chicken is perfectly seasoned, and it didn't even need any of the sauces, but of course I had to give them all a try. First, I tried the pineapple mustard sauce, and it was tangy with a hint of pineapple. Next, I tried baby G's sweet BBQ sauce, and my lord, I could drink this sauce! What a tangy but sweet BBQ sauce! I dipped my chicken in, my my fries in it! The ranch and fry sauce were also good. Next, the French fries were also perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection! Drinks: We tried the dirty bird, which was recommended by one of the employees, and it was really yummy! It gives me that famous "Utah soda" that everyone loves. Staff: Everyone was very friendly and quick to answer any questions I had or bring things I needed. Food came very quickly after the order was placed. Atmosphere: 10/10 on the vibes here! The outside patio has a game area with a huge chicken! Would be fun to visit at night when it's not as hot and get some drinks at the bar and spend time playing games with friends.

Great service, food is really good I just wish it was a little more filling for the price I paid for the food, other than that the quality of the food is really good the fries were some of the most crispy fries I've had and I enjoyed them, they have an interesting sauce selection with pineapple mustard being among that selection and it was a really good sauce. The chicken is well cooked and tasty do recommend trying.

Wet, sloppy, messy, all things a chicken sandwich should not be. The flavors feel bland and uninspired. Definitely not worth the premium price that they're asking for. If I want a chicken sandwich there's a canes up the street and a chick-fil-a in the same mall. Also the staff working the line clearly have no idea how to read a ticket. I asked for no pickle on the sandwich. My box had no pickle written on it. They still put pickles on the sandwich, this was inedible by the time I got home for such an amateurish mistake. I won't be back. I will recommend against this place. First impressions are everything and this left me wanting something else to eat and my money back.

Delicious! Helpful staff great at answering questions. They seem to be proactive and actually care that we had a good experience. Yummy sauces and food. The poutine is good but would be better with spicy fries.... Give it a try!

Went to The Crack Shack today and was pleased with the food and service. I tried the chicken arugula salad, the chicken strip basket and the mini biscuits. The salad was exceptionally fresh. It was packed with tasty protein and was very filling. The chicken fingers were moist and seasoned well. The fries were crispy and seasoned well. The biscuits were really thick and a little dense. They were served with honey butter. This restaurant is brand new so it's really clean and the employees were energetic and attentive. They have an oversized Jenga game outside as well as cornhole. This could be a fun date night or a great place to bring the family. Comfort food at it's best!

Went today to try it out. Service was very good. Very friendly and welcoming. The fries had a great seasoning on them and were delicious. I got the smash chicken sandwich. Smash was an understatement. It barely had any chicken which was disappointing. There were more pickles than chicken. Excellent bun, flavor was good, just lacking chicken. My kids got the chicken fingers and thought they were too spicy. It was ok, but for a new place I am sure they will work out the kinks and get better.
