The amenities are nice but this place has a reputation as the party apartment, because of that you get people playing music super loud in the early morning and late night. Partying in the parking lot and other apartments. I have never heard of management doing anything about this. This is also a very expensive apartment relatively. The rooms are also surprisingly small given that your sharing them
If you want a place with a lot of amenities and to have a good time in college come here. If you want to be able to focus on your studies and have a place to rest then don’t go here.
Great rooms. The washers, dryers, and fridges are high end. Beds are comfy. Management is very nice. Hot tubs are cesspools since 20 people cram into one. Gym needs to be updated - lots of broken equipment or missing weights when I lived there. 4/5 overall :)
I lived here for 2 years and just recently moved out because I got married ( I met my husband here at the cove!) but I absolutely loved living at The Cove every second I was there! The management is quick to respond and quick to resolve any issues, they are more than happy to work with you and do whatever they can to help. They also go above and beyond to make their residents feel appreciated and welcome! They always have prizes, activities and social events to look forward to and always make sure their residents have fun! This is a very social apartment complex and everyone is so nice! Great location, it’s close to the shops down on W Second S, and not a far walk from campus at all! Highly recommend!!
My friends had a horrible experience here and would not recommend if you wish for a good student experience. They encourage you to come down and talk to them but if you speak your mind too honestly in person or file a complaint that reflects on their poor management, the rest is rude response and recommendation to leave if your not happy as if that's a real solution to the toxic unruly social culture they are condoning. Very immature and petty management might add too
Management is a bunch of kids who only treats you nice if they like you as if this is high school, it's a business so act professional. I also noticed the reviews where the "brave student focus" gets kicked out for speaking up (encouraged /pressured to leave)and the rule breakers get to stay, because they don't have a problem obviously when they get are amongst the popularity who likes to vape 🚬, stay past curfew partying and the worse you can think of " the most social" unhealthy place yes😅
This is a first impressions review of staying at The Cove. I will definitely update this if some of the problems are addressed! :) As someone who has stayed at other complexes, I wanted to try staying here because it seemed like a really nice complex (the hot tubs are cool). First things first though, they do not have enough parking for their tenants. It’s not even close. I tried to get parking within a week or two of the start of the semester and they told me they had been sold out for MONTHS. Every other complex that I’ve stayed at either has enough parking or buys extra spaces at nearby complexes to ensure their tenants have parking. I cannot honestly give this complex above a three especially since it advertises itself as a “luxury complex” which forces me to hold them to a higher standard. This is especially stressful during winter where street parking is unavailable. I am currently parking clear across campus which is obviously not ideal. There are solutions to this such as buying spaces at nearby complexes and companies or even doing what many other complexes have done and build a parking garage.
Now for the positives!
The Cove has been a very fun complex to stay at. I have loved my roommates so far. My experiences with management have been great, and I am definitely loving the amenities. The location is pretty solid, and the rooms are relatively spacious. It really is a solid complex to stay at, but that parking situation needs to be addressed or at least clearly displayed somewhere for prospective tenants.
They are the worse! ⚠️ Ignorant and most prejudice management against ppl of different nationalities and race. I felt like a criminal throughout my entire stay and as maya Angelo said , we may forget what some say or do but you will never forget how someone or something made you feel! Not only did they treat and talk to me as if I was not a paying tenant with rights, but did so as if they were above the law and NEVER TAKE RESPONSIBILITY when called out for it by the school. yes, the school & my family tried to intervene to relieved me of the torment they inflicted on me by forcing me to move in the middle of the semester. And when I refused to after full payment was made they lied to the cops that I'm trespassing and had the nerve to tell me the matter is "incurable" when i plead how can i fixed this so I can have a peace of mind and study for my midterms. In the end, you thought they felt bad enough to just do the right thing from now on as per law, nope! they acted with vengeance. so don't let the BYUI approve status and paid reviews fool you that they are safe because I'm still recovering emotionally and physically from all they did to me plus from the cops the called on me again that this time forced me out on the sidewalk in the middle of the night when its freezing cold. I felt so humiliated and homeless because my home is in Florida and the Caribbean.
I'm here to share how they will go to any means necessary to make you uncomfortable when they want you gone and as soon as they get their money, they could careless about your wellbeing as a human otherwise I wouldn't be force out in the freezing cold with my stuff in my hands. Like I said, I was literally treated like a criminal by Hannah Daniel and her staff through out my entire stay, not to mentioned "stereotyped" a lot by my look, anger and frustration to be a threat. I guess I was suppose to be smiling when she called me a thief and that I should be "blacklisted" during my first month of staying there. I should have never reported and stood up for myself to say that's no way to talk to someone about rumors you heard and taking sides in roommate dramas. so Im sorry about that and if you have standards to whoever reading this this place has none.
Ps. I'm still waiting on my return deposit!
BEST APARTMENT COMPLEX BY FAR!!!!!!!! The lay out of the apartment is spacious and clean. Management is the best out of any apartment complex. They’re willing to work with anyone for any circumstances and are straight to the point about the things. The apartment complex has everything you need! Hot tubs, a gym, a yoga studio, and a study room! I loved living at the cove. Best experience ever when living on BYUI campus

This was by far THE BEST BBQ I've had in Idaho! Thick cut brisket mixed with delicious homemade sauces! Flavor was perfection. The owner Aaron takes pride in his work and it shows in the product!! Definitely became my favorite after one bite!
We had the BEST time as a family driving through the reserve. Itâs conveniently located, easy to find and access. The variety of foxes was astounding, some being the last of their kind globally. The wolves and bears were so close to our car but wer

The Emfield family is the best family to learn Jiu-jitsu from! They are kind and know what they are doing. If you are a beginner, you could not ask for a better team to teach you.

A fun Island-themed drink+desert shop. It's assorted soda, Italian ice, and custard. Cookies and cream custard is good stuff! Service was fast, and the indoor lawn chairs make a great spot to sit and talk with friends.
