The Cove at Lake Anna - Bar & grill in Mineral - 6320 Belmont Rd, USA

Such a great experience all around! The service was 11/10 and the food and drinks were great. The manager and servers took such great care of us. We went on a night with live music (Dakota Kensey) and they absolutely killed it. Such a great environment and will absolutely be back!

Great little cove and dogs are allowed on the back deck. Walk up the side stairs for entrance, unless it is Summertime, then the downstairs is open. Pretty good food . Staff is super nice and the views are of the cove (pirates cove) and the docks. I think they rent pontoon boats as well.

Excellent food. Great atmosphere. Service was quick. Food well presented. We had a wonderful lunch on the lake.

My son and I stopped by on the way home. There was a wonderful sunset and some delicious food, at a great location. We started with a chicken quesodilla and then had a hamburger and fried fish with a side of grilled vegetables. I took home some seasoned shrimp for my wife. This place has two levels inside and out, and connects to the general store where you can get everything you might need for a day at the lake.

The Ahi and cannon balls were very good. I wasn't a huge fan of the Flatbread or the nachos. The chili is more sweet than spicy. I had the mermaid juice and the pink lagoon which were both phenomenal. All the bartenders were super nice and makes sure we had everything we needed. This is definitely a place worth the stop.

Excellent fried shrimp with fries and my wife loved her Parmesan garlic wings, but the fried pickles were exceptional as an appetizer! The restaurant was simple but in an elegant way. Service was prompt and friendly without being overbearing. Definitely worth eating there anytime your in the area.

OK experience, just a lot of salt on the homemade chips and fried pickles. Chipotle wrap was okay, nothing crazy. Probably not their signature dish either to be fair.

Listen this place should not be rated this highly as it is (4.2 upon last checking). It’s fine. The food is fried bland and basic, the drinks are good, it’s on the water and has lot of seating options ands as ambiance is decent. Overall, it’s just fine. Everything is fried and basic bar food. It’s on the water which is the only thing going for it. Our server was great, again the drinks were really good but the music was blasting (at 5:30), there are numerous casino games, and its attached to a gas station. It’s fine, but deserves no more than 3 stars. This place is not kid or family friendly IMO. It’s very biker-bar, loud music with cursing before 6pm, lots of smokers. The vibes weren’t great and it was a disappointment.
