My wife and I stayed at the cottages for a week. It was such a wonderful place to stay. Super clean and the cottage had everything we needed to be comfortable.Coffee cups ,wine glasses , scissors, and even a toaster. I know the scissors sound odd but we needed them to cut brown paper for a kids project and yes they were in the drawer! |Everything we needed was there tucked away in a wonderful small kitchen. I can’t say enough about the property owners. Just wonderful people. We came back again a week later for another 9 day stay in a different cottage and it was exactly the same. Clean fully stocked with everything you need while traveling. If you’re in the area and looking for a place down town close to everything this is the place. They have 8 cottages all together within 4 houses. It’s so nice and with your own parking spot. Check out their website for all the particulars. My husband and I traveled to Punta Gorda to meet our 4th grandchild. We stayed at the cottage named Harbor Watch for 7 nights. The cottage was set up with everything we needed for a comfy stay. It was like having our own home away from home. The location is so convenient to downtown Punta Gorda. We were able to walk to eateries, shopping, and park. I returned to the area a week later without my husband. It was my first time traveling alone and to say I was nervous is an understatement. I stayed in the cottage named Castaway for 8 nights. I absolutely felt safe staying there all by myself. The cottage was just as beautiful and cozy as the other one. Each cottage has its own themed decor. The Cottages are clean, comfortable, stocked with supplies, and safe. I would highly recommend staying at The Cottages whether traveling as a couple or alone. You can’t beat the location or comfort.

I stayed at the Cottages twice in July. First time I traveled with my husband, and the second I was solo. The Cottages are individually decorated, have a fully stocked kitchen with full sized refrigerator, comfortable linens, Smart TV, charging port, and Bluetooth speaker. There is also a picnic area, barbecue to use, and beach supplies to borrow. The location is convenient for walking to the harbor, park, restaurants, and shopping. The hostesses are accommodating and quick to answer any questions you have. I highly recommend staying at the Cottages for a comfortable, safe, and relaxing stay.

Our cottage was just perfect for us. We loved staying there. It is in such a desirable location in Punta Gorda’s historic district and within walking distance to Charlotte harbor and to many restaurants. The cottage had all the amenities and both off-street and on-street parking. The owners are so nice and friendly and made every effort to make our stay enjoyable. We are so looking forward to staying there the next year.

SERENE. My cottage has the most wonderful natural light. There are times of the day when the natural lighting is magical, lighting up my residence with a peaceful ambience. The fellow guest are wonderful. Deanne & Nancy are fabulous host. The Punta Gorda Historic District is a mix of Olde Florida and modern convenience with many activities from the Saturday farmers market or the many art festivals in one of the local parks. You can walk to the river front park in minutes, walk the Greenbelt, walk to the convention center...I could go on but I think you get my point. Stay Here You Can Thank Me Later!

My wife and I spent the past month of February at the cottages . It was everything we were looking for. Supplied everything we needed for our stay. Great location, pet friendly, quiet neighborhood , close walking distance to harbor walk and downtown. Nancy and Deanne are wonderful hosts, they go above and beyond to make it an enjoyable stay. Great location,clean ,quiet and great owners are just a few of the positives after staying at the Villas for the second time. A quick stroll will bring you down to many restaurants and shops as well as Gilchrist Park and a great walking trail. My wife and myself as well as our dog enjoyed our stay. We stayed from mid November till the end of December. Another plus was the farmers market on Saturday it's literally two blocks away and a must see !! Five stars all the way in the Historic Punta Gorda area!!

My husband and I spent July & August 2023 at the cottages. The cottage was quaint, clean, and comfortable. The owners were kind, considerate and accommodating in every way. We would recommend a short or long stay. The location was wonderful with plenty of restaurants, the Harbor and much more. We look forward to staying at the cottages again in the future.
