Hands down one of the best meals & service I've ever had! Caylee was an excellent server, very attentive and personable. The new chef Timothy was next level. Being on a restrictive diet, he took the time to come and directly speak with me about what I could and couldn't eat. He created the most amazing Thai curry mahi & veggie dish I could've wished for! Above and beyond! Will definitely be back.
What a hidden treasure! Shrimp and grits was amazing. While I didn't get to have a drink, I did get a small taster of the Cabernet and the Cardinal. Both were pretty good. The art and photos can keep you busy for a long time. Such a great collection. Absolutely will return.
Sadie was an excellent server. From the moment we arrived she was smiling and greeted us with a friendly attitude and excellent recommendations. She knew exactly what to recommend based on our wine choices. She chilled the bottle we had purchased so we could take it back to our room on ice. Her outgoing personality was the perfect fit for this eclectic style restaurant. Sadie made us feel right at home from the very first moment to our last goodbye. In the middle we enjoyed delicious wings, the best ever Candied Bacon (and we're from the south, so we know Candied And Bacon), the pulled pork sandwich was great but the shrimp and grits was hands down the best I've ever had! We topped it off with delicious mixed drinks whipped up with Cape Fear's amazing Rum and delicious Muscadine wine for dessert. The chocolate cake was decadent. Thank you Sadie for making our birthday/anniversary celebration one to remember!
So glad my wife and I decided to go to. Caylee was our server and we couldn’t have asked for better service. She was friendly, knowledgeable and super sweet. She made excellent recommendations and made us feel like we were old friends. On top of that the food was amazing. Chef Timothy is obviously talented, but also a master at his craft. The presentation was flawless and the taste was outstanding. We cannot wait to go back and bring friends.
We so enjoyed hearing Trish DiLello Sunday afternoon. What a soulful, beautiful voice she has!! ❤️ Check her out on Sunday afternoons! Nice, relaxing atmosphere in The Cork Room! We also loved our delicious apps and “specialty” drinks brought to us by Skylar, our server! Totally enjoyable experience!!
Unfortunately, chicken was dry and sweet potato fries were cold. Tried to make a reservation for noon but we're asked to move it back because of another party of 15 at that time. That didn't seem to help matters much though servers were very kind. Bill had several errors and took awhile to sort out. Otherwise, nice venue and servers were on point.
My daughter and I went for Sunday afternoon lunch. First, they are NOT open til 6 as their page says. We entered the Cork Room and were ignored by 2 different waitresses for about 10 minutes. Finally a young lady comes to us saying they are closing at 3 and if we ordered something "quick" she guessed she could seat us. It took an additional 10 minutes to place a drink order. The waitress was rude and obviously by the look on her face wanted us to leave. We ordered the club sandwich and fried tomatoes. The fried tomatoes were good. The sandwich had more lettuce and bread than meat. No cheese or mayo. The bread had a horrible burnt smell. The fries were not cooked completely. Another waitress came over and refilled our drinks. She apologized for the website being misleading. Said they were under new ownership and it hasn't been updated in months. It's a beautiful place with a lot of potential, but they need better staff and a chef that actually can cook.
Very cute restaurant. Crab dip was so good. Suggested to the waitress about serving it with celery or carrot sticks for those who don't want to carb overload before their meal. She gracefully brought us some celery sticks out. . We had the she crab soup..yum Sea food ravioli. It had Beautiful large size scallops and shrimp in it . Also had the roast beef with carrots . This one I saved to take home to add a little more season too.everyone seem to really be enjoying their food and the atmosphere. They have beautiful grounds to explore and they have lots of events happening there also. Great place to chill with friends.

The Elizabethtown Inn is a beautiful historic home! The location is excellent and so close to downtown Elizabethtown. The Inns historical aspects show in every room! Not only is it a great place to stay, it is also a great place for hosting parties!
Very nice park with good hiking trails and educational displays. I checked with the park ranger, and she said bicycles are allowed on the dirt roads but not the hiking trails. Makes sense, because the trails have lots of soft sand. Definitely wort
We stayed for a weekend. I was running a 5k that was happening at the vineyard so it was super convenient. We stayed in the Maritime Cabin (2 person) and for us it was quite spacious and comfortable. Good heat, parking directly in front of the room
White Lake Water Park is a perfect place to take your kids! It is a little smaller compared to other water parks, but it fits the area. They have pools, a water slide, lazy river, wave pool and bumper boats! They have a concession stand, but you are
