7/7/23 We tried the lemon scones, pecan pie, filled n glazed doughnuts and sourdough bread. All excellent and nice prices. Great little shop. The raisin-filled cookies....better than Mom's, better than Grandma's. Just stuffed full n wrapped in that buttery dough....OMG 10/7/23 Baked goods excellent as always. Tried the broccoli cheddar cheese soup, not so good. Was very runny and contained noodles. Wasnt what I was expecting. Broccoli was crisp n vibrant but the broth was barely cheesey.
I have a major problem with the sand tarts.... They are so good I can't stop eating them! They are like potato chips...can't have just one! Got donuts and snickerdoodles too... Both very good. Didn't realize they have soups too. We will be stopping more often.
I stopped by on Saturday to get 2 doughnuts and surprise my hubby with 2 peanut butter whoppie pies. He said they are the best he's ever tasted. Well done. Kimberley and Victor Schroy
Yum, yum and more yum. Homemade goodies... Best you ever had. They even offer pies that you can buy and bake yourself. The sticky buns are phenomenal. Candied pecans, blueberry hand pies, gobs (whoopie pies depending on what part of the state you're from), cookies, donuts, pumpkin roll, so much to choose from. All priced well and unbelievably delicious. The owners are lovely, friendly people. Just a great place. Definitely worth the stop.
Lovely place and the sweets are amazing. Strongly recommend getting there early on Saturday for the best selection. Everything we bought was delicious and the ladies are so friendly.
Excellent baked goods and the Amish were selling grilled chicken out front, I bought a half chicken, some of the best chicken I've had ever eaten. Both the chicken and baked good were very yummy! Sticky buns and peach dumpling were just like my moms
