The Coffee Company - Brunch restaurant in Los Angeles - 8751 La Tijera Blvd, USA

Reservation recommended. Came in town for the Lions game, and the first official stop was for foodstuffs. The Coffee Company was a suggestion by my car rental assistant T. When we arrived, there was a line and a wait, but once we got in and settled, the atmosphere was wonderful. We got our order in, and our food assistant was so nice. She got us squared right away. The shrimp and grits were my order along with the chicken. I didn't really care for the shrimp. They were overcooked, but the grits weren't too bad. The chicken, on the other hand, was good. King Lemonade really enjoyed his meal. Overall, the experience was really nice, and we enjoyed ourselves while dining. -@according2teau 👽🦄

The Coffee Company is only open from 7 am to 3 pm. It can get super crowded and I don't think they take reservations so after 10 am until around 2 pm you may have a wait. Go on a weekday if you can. They have dine in, take away (check your food) and delivery. We like dine in and have never had more than a 10 minute wait because we come at off hours. The service is very nice, but not perfect. I almost removed a star for this. The manager can be curt and some of the staff seem rushed and need to pay attention when you order. But overall, the service is fine and we are always happy. The inside and outside is super cute, but not large. There is seating outside, but we prefer the inside. It really is charming. We have not had a bad meal there. It is all great. Now, I find it pricey for what we get, but it is so good, I just choose to ignore it. Their fried chicken is so good, cooked to perfection and crispy. We have had most of their breakfast and lunch items. They have wonderful waffles and pancakes. Their biscuits and gravy are some of the best. We also love their coffee. And try their breakfast potatoes, you can get a huge side order and share, sometimes it comes with the meal, it just depends what you order. For lunch we have had burgers, tuna sandwiches and their turkey club. Their fries are always hot. I love the bread they use on their sandwiches and they are made with care. They have too many coffees to mention, just know if you want it, they have it. Have the best time.

The coffee company provided an interesting experience with a beautiful atmosphere. However, the service fell slightly short compared to other places, and both the coffee and scrambled eggs didn't impress. The chicken breast was served in cut cubes in the skillet, contrary to the expectation of a whole piece. On a positive note, the potatoes, cheese, and seasoning in the dish were flavorful. I suggest trying sunny side up eggs with the skillet as they might be a better pairing. Despite some shortcomings, I'd be willing to give the place another chance.

The Coffee Company brings back some great memories. After we got married we had brunch there and it felt good to be back almost 6 years later. The service is still welcoming and the energy is BLACK. So many upscale black people go there too. Omar the manager was courteous and helped us with some breakfast sandwiches. Thank you again Omar.

You guys know I love trying new breakfast spots, I had to see if this one would be one for the books. Unfortunately it didn't make it. Nothing really bad because the service was great 👍🏽 Food was good and location is good too but that was it. Nothing wowed me about this place. It is a good breakfast spot but it's not a memorable place nor did the food really excite my taste buds. It's just a nice average breakfast place. I had their skillet with polish sausage and my boyfriend had their French toast plate. It's like a denys in my opinion. I would go back for their home welcoming atmosphere. A little overpriced for their taste.

Nice breakfast place near the airport! Made a quick stop before returning my rental. Service was great and fast. Food was good but nothing out of the ordinary. I wasn’t a fan of the potato but the sandwich and pancake were good. It’s a nice place to sit down and eat! They even have a cheaper take-out menu.

Awesome Sidewalk Dining Breakfast with various choices. I had the 2 Eggs over easy with the Spicy Chicken Sausage and O’Brians Style Potatoes with Biscuits and Gravy. My wife had the Snowcrab Omelette with Sour Dough Bread and Fresh Fruits. The coffee and fresh squeezed orange juice was great. Yum!!! Happy stomachs!!! 😋

Came to the Coffee company for breakfast, we were greeted outside and sat outside immediately by our waiter. I had the chorizo burrito and it was very tasty and filling. The biscuit was fluffy on the inside and flaky on the outside, just amazing. The food came out very fast and the server was very nice. This is our new go to spot in LA for breakfast. ☕️
